Surely anyone affected for whom the club held details for (which they do for all season ticket holders), should have had a notification and not have to be reached out to on a message board??
seems strange that only one person seems to have been told anything. Maybe he was invited to your cosy little kit launch too
I know there are frustrations with how the club is being run and Billy is representing the club here, but he's definitely not the one to take it out on.

Barry
It appears to be common knowledge that you keep track of what is under discussion on here. I don't know if that's true or whether you have a username.
If it is the case then a direct question.
You acknowledged in a radio interview that in the latter days of the previous ownership you were not fully aware of everything that was going on and that with the benefit of hindsight you could perhaps a have used your status as a Director to challenge more than was the case.
As you have retained that status under the new ownership do you feel that you are now in a position to deliver similar challenges given what appears to be a poor level of corporate governance?
It used to be @Barryowen but that account hasn't logged on in 5 years. He could just be viewing as a guest.

My mate who was watching from the FGR stand described us as, "physically robust," (his quotations). I must say it was the most pleasing thing I heard about us, even if it wasn't entirely meant as a compliment
Was it Winchester?

(Slight technical correction, it’s not pension entitlements... it’s the passing on of pension contributions.)
For which we’ve now been reported to The Pensions Regulator. Granted we’ll probably just get a fine but it’s not great to be pissing off another regulator on top of the FCA.

There's an Oldham fan on twitter who was sat in their main stand who says it isn't true.
When the manager is wearing casual clothes they will easily be confused for fans.
Are they saying it’s not true because they saw him leave the field with the team though?

Millington is now assistant manager to Pete Wild.

There is money due to AL I believe as well that’s one reason there is a stand off.
Maybe if the club actually met with the FLG then they could discuss it and resolve the issue

You are not telling me that the owners (FLG) of the Royle stand did not include the seats in their fire risk assessment? Why would you try and fob that part off on someone else? Fire doesn't choose?
Are you really questioning fire safety regulations at a football ground? Have a think...

What's up Jorvik, thrill of the battle not enough to entice you back in.
I'm still deciding. My motivation for this team is wavering by the day.

But I'll be pissed off Latics haven't won. So I won't be happy. So I won't be winning.
But you won't have lost money like you said.

But you can't win as you'll be either pissed off as you've lost money or that Latics haven't won ..
Read that back to yourself....
If Latics haven't won then you win money.

I'll be up for that.
Don't think we'd need a separate table if it's most points wins. Just a record of who's in the mini league.
You'd need an agreement that people won't bitch to the organisers about enforcing rules etc or it could jeopardise the league for next season.

Is Playershare still active? I was just wondering about whether we should get this going again for the upcoming season? If not for Playershare then for O4U's charity?
I believe Playershare is still active but is just ticking over at the moment. I'm not sure we should be giving the club money for players judging the calibre of signings made so far. O4U was a big supporter of it, I don't see any harm in raising money but keeping it for a signing some way down the line?

Now don't look at my posts for facts!
I was hedging my bets, there used to be loan window after the cash money window closed.... God knows what the daft rules are these days. I'm available on a free, could do a job at the back even if it's just getting in the way of the ball occasionally, which would instantly promote me above some of the eejits we've tried to play there recently.
Now we've had the facts, league kicks off on Saturday and (hang-on, just had a text from an unknown number asking me to come in for a trial) we look thin on the ground in all positions, are we sure they all came back from Morocco? Has anyone checked that there aren't some lads in nifty training gear trying to smuggle themselves back in to Northern Africa?
It's pretty desperate isn't it? Bloke who has been flogging players to clubs for years can't assemble a decent 22 of his own across 11 positions. Why did I renew????
I'd play you ahead of Sefil.
Yeah. The one thing you'd expect him to do well and it looks pretty ropy so far.

Transfer window.
Last season it closed before the opening day, it’s been reverted back to normal now.
The loan and permanent transfer window closes on the same day, that's what I meant. 31st August. Championship and Premier League next Thursday.

That’s been scrapped for League 1&2
What, free agents?
I misread Beegs anyway. I thought he said after the end of the transfer window, not at the end.

Think we'll have to wait for the loans at the end of the transfer window before we complete our recruitment,
Closes the same day these days. We can sign free agents though. *gulp*

It’s £18 per game.
