  1. I've forgotten to lose my nut in here that The Avalanches are back!!!!

This may not work but they have made a short film with snippets of the new album on here:

Arse, can't embed, but worth a watch via the link, its a video cut and paste job just like their musical style. Here's a link to Subways, a lovely summery track:

    The Avalanches are BACK!!!

  2. Going to be a long hard season, purely based on the new management team, new squad and us being several weeks behind the other teams. Not many of which will be starting August with at least 8 new players in their teams. Get through this season, hopefully players like Flynn, Banks, Winchester, Edmondson and a few others finish strongly hinting at a more cohesive team going into the 17/18 season.

  3. Brains of Britain there, wanting a person to exit a moving tram.

I'm not one to condone violence and at 07:40 before a Tuesday at work one of the last things you want to do is scrote swatting but there were some hefty fellas on that tram, all it would have taken is one of them to step up and others would have followed.

  4. Rally on the markets today, factoring in Brexit or dead cat bounce?

Language coming out of Europe is still get on with it, if the markets begin to stabilise these calls may get stronger before the markets dip once article 50 is enacted. The instability doesn't suit anyone and sooner or later something has to give.

  5. We all like lists

    Pound hits 31 year low.

    FTSE 100 130 points down.

    FTSE 250 down 5%.

Investors worrying that the economy will start shrinking.

    Dublin Borse down 8%.

    Other markets affected.

Whatever the ins or outs (no pun intended) the above does matter. The paralysis in government and parliament is feeding the uncertainty. This isn't a philosophical game played out across the saloon bar or common room, the red lines affect livelihoods.

  6. Jarvis is from the Blairite right wing of the party, the wing that the membership rejected when they voted for Corbyn. Liz Kendall came last in the leadership and she is probably closest to great white hope Jarvis politically.

He may be able to lead another party but I don't think he would get the leadership of the current Labour party.

  7. Can we have a new option of neither? I decided in the end that I couldn't vote for either so drew my own box with ":censored:ed either way" and put my X in there, put it in the ballot box and finally felt content.

I think remain will squeak it.

Farage will claim a 'huge victory", "the people have spoken, but the metropolitan elites have fixed it....." We'll have years and years of bitter and open re-runs of this last 6 months which has seen some of the very worst people have to offer.

    We're all :censored:ed.
