Think we'll go for Hoti at Halifax as well. Mellon has had him before...

Who was the last very good player we signed from Stockport?
Mark Kitching...

Quite possibly but, more importantly, who'll sign ours...?
Hartlepool, Halifax, Fylde and Scunthorpe...

Because signing a batch of ones Stockport no longer needed really worked well...
Chesterfield will sign Stockport players and we'll sign Chesterfield players...

We're in for a couple of Chesterfield players...

Shitpeas at it again.
Tweets last night that the Rothwells now want out as it's costing them too much money.
Hasn't Frank always stated he wants more people on board investing in the club, so potentially selling some shares...?

Also on Mikey-
He has a relationship with the fans, he seems a great bloke and good character. That’s important at anytime, but especially when you’re trying to rebuild.
I want a lot more with his non playing characteristics in the squad.
But he's shit. Get rid...

As much as I'd agree, we don't have the budget for bringing in better players than them as back up choices.
Nah, not having it. We'll be spending again...

Fucking let them if they’re that mardy. Sone can see the bigger picture. The bigger picture isn't giving new deals to Devarn Green and Mike Fondop...

I agree with you. My concern is we've thrown a good few quid at it and been shit, if the budget is down considerably, the club may well be thinking along the lines of consolidation which is unacceptable imo.
I'm pretty certain that we will spend a fair bit of money again over the summer...

I'll also stick my head above the parapet on this. Of all the players currently on our books he's the best we've got at CDM and we know he's a CB by trade and has covered RB too. He's smart at breaking up play and covering from CDM, he works really hard. He's mentally strong, coming back from that back injury showed real fortitude and I don't think he's missed a game through injury since he came back.
Unless we're signing two better CDMs, or he's overpaid for what he does, it's an easy decision to keep him for me.
He's done a great job at being crap in 3 different positions...

Irrespective of my opinion on the subject, I’d rather the NL represent the views of their member clubs than make unilateral decisions on stuff like this.
That is probably fair enough. My point is I'd rather lose at home to Eastleigh than have to travel there in a replay on a Tuesday in November to lose anyway...
-
I'm glad the NL haven't jumped on the bandwagon. No replays make for a much better competition and there's more chance of giantkillings in a one off game...

Ironic considering we brought him to the club to try and change the style of how we played. He was meant to be creative and bring positively to the team.
Yep...

He knew who the manager was when he signed though? Mellon had already been here a couple of months.
Pass. It's worth noting though, that it seemed like it was just the opinion of his family and not necessarily anything that has come from Conlon himself...

It was me, they were stood behind me at Ebbsfleet. And yep, they said that...

I genuinely think the only OOC player worth a discussion is Gardner, and even then it has to be on £150 a week with £500 appearance fee...

I would be happy to keep him, but Eyresy has a point : my stance is more due to his previous track record as opposed to anything he's done here since his appointment. His recent interviews have made me think he might knock it on the head after Wealdstone, but then last night he seemed much more positive about the squad in his interview...

They were shit long before the booing started.
It's a bit of a chicken and egg situation so effort is probably needed on both parts, I've got to say though this group is the most detached I've ever seen from the fans and from the outside as has been mentioned it looks like it's full of over flated egos and bad attitudes which for an older group of players is just weird.
Booing is justified in some areas (for example, failing to score against Oxford City is definitely worthy of a boo), but I do reckon booing has just been rolled out wily-nilly since February time. That performance last night, whilst certainly not being great, didn't justify boos in my opinion. Incidentally, I was stood on the front row and didn't hear any of these supposed boos that apparently greeted Norwood's arrival.
The game was just a bit "meh". On balance of play, they probably just about shaded it, especially towards the end...

I did, but that wasn't when I was stood in the away end and could see how many people were there...
