We are in good form, only 2 defeats in 11. We'll win by at least three goals...

Don't understand people complaining about the deadline. Season Tickets always go on sale in March. People have had almost a year to put money aside for it. It's almost as if it comes as a big shock to many when they release them...

Seems logical to me. If we release both Hogan and McGahey we would only have to sign another centre back anyways.
I'd be up for that...

Yeah, the apathy has kicked in again.
I only going on Friday because I promised my daughter, I’ve tried suggesting other things but she won’t budge. The excitement in our house is palpable. . .
It's not completely out of the realms of possibility that Oldham will beat Fylde in a game of football...

We'll make them. Lot more twist and turns to come. We don't need to win on Friday, but it would help...

Agreed it'd be a shame if he's packed it in.
I didn't disagree with most of his posts........just the repetitive nature sometimes.
I like him, and the targeted harassment from one particular poster was borderline bullying for me, but he certainly doesn't help himself sometimes...

Reckon a team will take a punt on Kurt and maybe even Shelton, i can see us paying a couple off too, certainly Reid.
I think we’ll be stuck with Ward and Nuttall at the very least personally. Maybe we can offer Nuttall a loan elsewhere and another team at least contribute to his wages.
Isn't it pretty much a done deal that Willoughby is going back to Chester...?

I'm not sure which thread it belongs on, but the goalscoring return from our defenders is pitiful. I think Hogan is the only one to have chipped in this season and he's only got one...

Who was the last penalty taker we had that was as good as him ? When he steps up, I have no doubt he will score.
Or should we go back to the time DKD, Missilou and Hart all had a try at taking a penalty ?
It is a skill you know and it counts as a goal.
We create nothing for him. That’s clearly the issue.
Hmmmm, he did miss a free header from 5 yards on Saturday, just like he did the week before against Chesterfield...

Liam Mandeville has always done well against us. If Chesterfield looked for an upgrade ahead of their EFL season, then I'd be happy if we tried for him...

This is probably what Mellon wants to say.
Why? We haven't been beaten 6-0 and aren't in the relegation zone...

Anyway, the game. Hudson seemed to forget what kit we were wearing - every kick went to a Dagenham player. Sheron was so bad that he should be fined two weeks wages. Garner pissed me off chucking himself to the ground every time, deliveries into the box were a shambles. Fondop's chance at the end is an absolute sitter and we failed to lay a glove on the little number 30 in midfield.
Plenty of time to put it right...

It's the ones doing it throughout the game I don't understand, they've gone there to support them I presume but they are giving certain players pelters from the off. At full time I'm not really arsed, I thought the players made an effort to come over yesterday and they showed more balls doing that than they did in the game but the abuse was predictable. Unfortunately this group are snatching defeat from the jaws of victory and getting worse by the week.
Eyresy comes on here and gets grief for saying our fanbase is entitled, but stuff like yesterday, and post-Aldershot backs up his theory. Especially when people are chucking it over social media to get views and likes...

I'm not so sure this is the case. They've only lost 2 in 11...

People pay their money and are entitled to react how they see fit, personally I've booed them off once this season at Southend, now I just walk out - generally early to avoid the piss boil.
Worry for me is the season ticket sales for next season which is a bit ironic as I'm probably going to give it a swerve myself if they go up in price.
It's not so much the booing that I can't get my head around - it's the amount of abuse shouted at the players that blows my mind.
In fact, the only reason I clapped them yesterday is cos they were getting an unnecessary amount of grief from a section of the fanbase...

Do you reckon? I don't think he's pulled off any save this season that I wouldn't expect any grown adult with arms to make...

Just had a listen back (believe it or not, I do actually hate the sound of my own voice).
Last night's result at The Shay just reinforces my view that the draw on Saturday was a disappointment, especially given our dominance. Few people have said I was a tad harsh on Hudson, but we've conceded a fair few goals that he should be stopping this season...

Didn't realise these were as high as they are. We are more than capable of going sticking 4 past them, but I've got a bad feeling about this one...

I thought that with the Easter Fixtures. But...
Alty v Wealdstone
Gateshead v Hartlepool
are both on the 26th. Technically in the arrangements playing Tuesday / Friday is no different than playing Wednesday / Saturday and we've done that this season with a much longer journey home than the 20 minutes from Halifax.
So I can see it being arranged for Tuesday 26th. Especially if there are doubts about Halifax fulfilling their home fixtures due to their pitch.
It'll be the 16th April...
