We know Mellor's got a good enough engine to play in a three in Midfield as he's played 20 odd games at Full-Back so will have no problems getting up and down. Smith will push on more than Brown so gets the nod at RB, we just need to get the crosses in from Kirk and let Jose play the free role he thrives in.

I definately agree with that defence we need experienced leaders in there and I can't see that in either Brown or Tarky

I don't think it was the boos that kick started them in the second half more like LJs hair dryer and kick up the arse at HT

Ronnie Simpson has been atrocious all season apart from the Forrest game so frustrating because we know he can be a very good player in this league, maybe he was just playing for a contract last season. He's become aggressive and dirty this season to he will no doubt end up somewhere else though and probaly move on to better things just like most ex Latics players

Sometimes it's some of our own so called supporters that become our main enemy !

It certainly doesn't help the cause when players go off at HT with a chorus of boos from their own supporters.

I understand the first half was awful but booing your own team for me is out of order, it destroys morale and confidence especially to the younger players and players become scared and the ball becomes like a ticking time bomb and they want to get rid of it as quickly as possible.

This is part of the reason why we have seen the hoof ball for most of this season.

Some of our fans have turned against this team and some of the abuse has been disgraceful. We're stuck with this lot till the very end now so let's get behind them for the few remaining games instead of putting them down all the time

I thought Diallo looked a good player loved to get forward pretty good on the ball and could get a good cross over ! Apparently we wanted him to stay but couldn't come to an agreement on wages. Believe or not the last I heard of him he was on trial at Swindon

Ben Parker was the player who rejected us last season to come here on loan from Leeds, Corney and Dickov both slammed this player for having an awful attitude surprise we've give him a trial poor attitude no thanks

Fleming was a free from the late Gretna FC and we paid £60,000 for Joe Colbeck from Bradford

We actually paid money for Colbeck (sigh) shows how bad a manager DP was

I feel the same ! He comes across as a really clever guy, wasent to confident last night but listening to him today he's impressed me with his plans and knowledge. Of course if it doesent work out the finger should only be pointed at Corney.

Give this guy a chance and let's get behind him but the only thing that worrys me is that Corney said the exact same thing about Dickov 3 years ago
