Surprised he hasn't been mentioned he fits the bill ! Knows the club has a lot of experience and is still youngish for a manager. Currently at Leeds as Youth and Reserve manager led the Youth team to a 2nd place finish last season. Can't imagine he'd want paying over the odds and probaly has a few contacts in the game considering the clubs he's played for ! For me perfect candidate

I seriously believe we will go down this season, with no manager in place for Tuesday all the signs point to another defeat against a very in form Yeovil team, Corney should of at least had someone lined up ! Employing a new manager will probaly take a few weeks. Spirits need to be lifted and quick ! If we go into League 2 I don't think Corney will stick around

How can you not back Corney ? I personally feel sorry for the bloke and I take my hat off to him for sticking around. He could of quite easily of jumped ship years ago with his pals but dident and in the process saved the club from liquidation, He has pumped money into this club season after season he has backed countless managers by bringing in THEIR players not his, He has been unlucky with his last two appointments of managers but hopefully the next one will be the right one. ! Nobody will invest in this club so thank god for Simon Corney no Simon Corney = No Latics so he gets my upmost respect as he should from every fan.

Grayson is more or less dead certs to go back to blackpool
