  1. Holloway in for me, bring him in now temporary with the option to extend in summer!

Been saying I wouldnt mind having holloway for a few months now! Seems a good manager and def my first choice. Just a note, was Dowie commentating for sky when we played against Leeds? I know he was definately there so if he wasnt then maybe thats something that could be a hint!

  2. yep definatley proved it now.

unless players wives are pillocks, players kids are pillocks, corporate sponsors who support the away team are pillocks and guests of the home team who dont support the home team are pillocks

Jus read that on the other post! what a knob! I wish he'd f*ck off and find another forum to annoy! Ive kept quiet before but this is the 3rd time he's started p*ssin me and alot of others off!

ahh well, I'll leave him to it! I'm off having a real life!!!

  3. oafc0000 seems unable to distinguish between familles and hooligans, either that or hes deliberately disagreeing again. im beginning to believe having an internet arguement sexually excites him

I think he's just a very sad person, that gets some sort of thrill out of winding people up, via an internet message board! Quite possibly while sat slouched in his chair that he can no longer get out of, eating his XXXXL bag of crisps, and shifting his sellotaped glasses up a notch every now and then! Reaching for his enhaler every now and then to calm him down form his excitement!

    Going on to chat rooms chatting up, younger girls and pretending he's a dashing young man! Inbetween playing world of warcraft and {some other crappy internet game similar (there's loads aint there? I just cant think of another!)}

I could be totally wrong ofcourse! But jus like this pr*ck, I'm gonna stereotype and stand by my post even if i'm wrong

    :grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

  4. The Abbey?? Hahahahahaha

BRING BACK JAN AND THE AWFULLY RANK CHIPS, CHEESE AND GRAVY IN THE RAT INFESTED KITCHEN. Yummy!!!!

What a dive of a pub that was when I was at college. As for the prices. Absolutely scandelous. Bet the great unwashed avoid it just as much as everyone migrated to the 'ring of feathers' for proper cheap alcohol. That was until people finally turned 18 and decided to spend their days on Yorkshire street instead.

I wouldnt go in the Abbey if you paid me now. Full of people too lazy to go the Castle or Whittles.

For a starters the castle's only open friday n saturday nights! secondly whittles prices are scandalous.

The kitchen has never had rats! although it did have field mice about 3 years ago (which most of that side of oldham does), which was sorted out! as for the ring of feathers! It was closed down and lost its premises license for underage drinking and the selling of drugs over 2 years ago!

Ohh and btw, I drink in whittles and castle aswell! So dont bother tryna sell em to me, I already think they're a good night out....

......If you've saved a weeks wage for it!

  5. I know I shouldnt but I'm one of the people that gave eardley abit of stick friday night (not excessively tho like some!)

My problem isnt that he's consistently poor! He has had some decent performances this season! And some down right amazing performances over the last 2! But thats the problem! He lacks consistency! Knowing how well he can play, p*sses me off when he's having a stinker!

Whats the missing factor that resulted in his poor performance? Surely it cant be low morale? one point off top at the time? best start in god knows how many years!

I just cant understand why he cant give 100% every match? If fitness is the problem, then maybe he should be replaced for a few matches, and try improve long term fitness through training?

  6. Is it me or isnt this just going to entice the like of Leeds and Milwall 'frims' to go in the cheadle end to prove they're "harder"?

People with that mentality who just go for a fight are now going to know exactly where they can get one! And more fool stockport if they do, the likes of Leeds or Millwall aint gonna be as easy to handle!!!

Be very interesting to see what allocation they give to them!

  7. Unfortunately there isnt much time for word of mouth to spread! I got dumped with my brothers pub ( which I'm ashamed to say is on the verge of dying!) this morning with 2 hours notice to open! I'm just trying to get a few latics fans in the place and make the most of an afternoon before the match! and if word of mouth does spread and you come in a larger group, like I said I will do additional offers for groups of 7 or more!

I'm jus tryna make the best out of a bad situation, and sort out proper football fans along the way!

p.s. I forgot to mention, any customers in scum shirts will see a 100% price rise between 12-5!

  8. I'd love to say no but due to gordon i'm a fat scottish b*stard brown, tax increases have seen average prices sore! the average price for a pint on the outskirts of oldham (in that area) is around £2.50 per pint! And for groups of 7 or more there are more offers available! contact me for details!!!

  9. All tics fans going to the game tomorrow! The abbey inn in oldham will be selling at £2** a drink* from 12-5pm to all fans wearing an oldham shirt! I'm aware some people have to sit in the home end and as a result wont be wearing colours! As a result of this if you produce a programme purchased this season from the club I will also accept this to get the discounted offer!

I will be working the bar and at 5 going to stockport! any like-minded latics fans who fancy a few bevvies before the game feel free to join us!

*drinks on offer are: carling, strongbow, john smiths, V.S. San miguel and Becks

**Bottles of Newcastle Brown Ale will also be on offer at a reduced rate of £2.30 per bottle.

***ADDITIONAL OFFERS AND PROMOTIONS FOR GROUPS (more than 7)!!!

Bacon/Sausage butties + drink* will also be available 12-2 at £3.00 (subject to availability)

  10. I've no doubt that there'll be Oldham fans in the home area on Friday and provided there isn't any trouble I couldn't care less.

I just feel that some fans made the decision to go in the home end as soon as the allocation of 2,000 seats was announced and didn't attempt to purchase an away ticket.

If finding £16 was the problem then maybe these fans would have been better looking for ways to earn a bit of pin money in their spare time rather than thinking up new and more elaborate ways to get turned down at the Stockport ticket office.

I'm sorry if I seem a little bit dispassionate to the plight of the fans without tiickets but this really does seem like a problem that could've easily been avoided.

yeah because everyone chose not to get a ticket! Its sold out you moron! If the couple hundred people that are going to end up in the away end had gone and got a ticket, it would only result in other people being in the same situation they're in! It doesnt matter when people go to get tickets, or when they have money, if they allocate us 2000, and considerably more want to go people will be in the home end! you cant blame the people who didnt have tickets 8 days before a friday night away match!!!

  11. i think you will find its called customer service....considering the club needs the fans money each season in ticket sales and the pay on the day fans every week...the very least you should expect is a clean seat..

if you got on a train or a bus and the seats were filthy you wouldnt sit on them, and would more than likely complain to the relevant company, why should it be different at football games.

the clubs needs to attract more pay on the days....chraging them £20 to sit in a filthy seat for upto 3 hours really isnt good customer service.

OK firstly, I sat in my designated ticketed seat for hudds, I always move for a season ticket holder. I've been relocated too, I dont moan at the team, I do like to sing and stand occasionally (although if theres ppl behind that obviously dont or cant see over me then i keep it to a minimum), I pay £20 every home match, and follow as many away matches as I can (unfortunately I work most sat nights so usually only local ones!). I've not been going 40 years, i've not even been going 14, but my opinion still counts, because wether I've been going 1 year or 50 years I am a part of the clubs future!

    Now to my points:

    1. Poor customer service? stop moaning about ur seats, the service latics have delivered this season where it matters (on the pitch) has been (bar yesterday) amazing! And I'm guessing you've never messaged Alan Hardy? because I guarentee if you do he WILL reply. how many businesses with between 5000 and 7000 customers do you know that would? and not an automated response, or a designated team dealing with them???

    2. (and most importantly) when the f**k did you last get a bus or train? and had it just left the factory??? I'll give u a tip! next time ur on one slap the seat! bet the dust fills ur eyebrows!!!! They're disgusting!!! (thats if a chav hasnt already cut holes in2 em!

  12. Only got two blocks of the side stand, not all of it!

didnt know that! If i remember rightly they have 1 large stand that they cant fill, and a side stand filled with invisible people!! If we only have a section of the side stand I cant see why they wouldnt give us more tickets! They wont fill it, not on a friday night!

  13. Stockport must give us another batch of tickets next week surely based on Police Advice. I know quite a few fan's who haven't got a ticket yet due to different reasons. They'll most likely jump into the home end rather than miss the game.

We already have two stands! would be good to get more but I cant see it happening!
