To be fair shez has been hampered by the 3 yr deals given to some right donkeys by the previous manager(Lee Richardson) Darren CURRIE walked away with a 60k pay off, Matin Gritton still with 12 month deal left and obviously not rated by shez. 2 years left on his deal and the promise of a big budget I think we'll see 15 to 20 players on their way but I wouldn't be surprised to see 'da bosh' given a 12 month deal. Not rubbing it in by any means but our stadium should be finished by JULY, currently laying the pitch on the webcam (click b2net stadium) and hopefully onwards and upwards. Be interesting to see who you bring in and who if any Shez approaches from you - do you think he will come back for anyone, has been accusing our squad of no mental strength/backbone.

Shez having a very rough ride at Chesterfield after 7 points from the last 11 games and blowing play off chance. Still has 2 years to go with the promise of big budget for this season. New stadium this year (Click b2net stadium) will see him with us at least this season. Watch out for some surprise signings.

Morning guys, end of another dissapointing season with nothing to play for on saturday baring a miracle for us. See Dave Penny has left, any hints as to who's coming in. Shez went after him as soon as the DALE deal ended, I've always rated him what he will bring to us is quality crosses/ corner kicks somthing we are sadly lacking. Turned the game for us on Saturday at DARLO. Surprised we got him.

He's even gelling and spiking the white locks now.

At the back of all of this is his accrimonious exit from Sheff Wed where to be honest he kept throwing his own money at bringing in new players and giving the Trust there 10 percent free shares. He has in veiled terms stated in interviews that Wednesday could have had what we now have (Stadium) but the vitriol drove him out. He happens to be big mates with our current chairman and was attracted to the club because of no debt. I don't think anyone can argue that he hasn't been true to his word to date. Did you know he is one of the top Pigeon fanciers in the country - spends thousands on the birds.

You don't expect me to condemn the man after what he has brought to the table. You seem to have formed your own opinion so maybe you should answer your own question. One thing for sure, he is a first rate businessman. Personally I know little about the guy business or otherwise.

The shop is only an artists impression. The thing about our build is that it was only September last year that they started the build, so once everything is in place the stadium appears from no where so to speak. It has been 10 yrs in the coming though and without the arrival of our new owner (Dave Allen, ex Sheffield Wednesday) and his 6 million investment it would still be a brown field site. The ground is handed over in July this year and for a 63 yr old git like myself I feel immense pride in whats been achieved but at the same time mourn the loss of Saltergate where all my memories lie. On the webcam site if you click 'others' you will get some fantastic ariels of the build programme and the speed at which things have moved. Only played 2 games when our young keeper Tommy LEE needed the rest, didn't cover himself in glory. Will only be used I suspect when injuries dictate.

If funding is an issue with you guys then you have to conform for the grants etc.We've had all the arguaments but to get the odd U21/U18 game or like you have to conform to the FL and their requirements.

Just enrolled his lad in our reserve set up, wonder if he's coming home ?

Funny that, we started like a house on fire goals galore though at either end. The youngster from City was a big plus(Donal McDermott) but all those early loanees have gone back and we are now waiting for move to the b2net and making do with lower league loanees.

10 minute sub appearance, looked well off the pace, not surprising though not having been in first team at grimsby for a while. Shez seems to be keeping away from the squad, no nights out for our boys yet. We seem to be club's in transition together what with new grounds, Shez andTommy doing ok at the moment what with our horrendous injury list. Have we got a good manager, a bit spikey at times (never looks happy) but seems to want to play footie the purist way. Dave.
