The incidents you mention about Jones when you think about all of them, he was defending himself. He had stewards kicking players out of the ground on a match day, a player having a go at him which has since been explained and now this. All resulting in Jones defending himself which i'm sure any one on this board would do in any workplace.

It seems a bit odd that a player that has been dropped for about half of the season has suddenly had a strop at being dropped when its nearly the end of the season and the end of his contract. It doesn't ring true to me.

I'm sure Jones is well aware that all manager's bollock players - he's played for the main man when it comes to dishing out bollockings in football!! the manner in which these things are done could possibly be questioned.

They will probably pay him off and put a clause in his contract that he isnt allowed to refer to the matter, and then you will never find out the players view of what happened. Indicating it was due to being dropped is laughable as he is possible the most dropped player. So why would this one occasion make any difference.

maybe a part of the contract was missing? in any case how does this excuse the fact that the club have lied on their own website, local papers and sky by telling the fans that he had signed a two year deal - surely they knew the details. Who's the thick one ?

the whole team were non existent in the first half and in the second half he was one of the only players that had any attempt on goal - a header on to the top of the net and a shot just wide of the post.

And was he at fault for any of the goals - oh no he wasn't. very boring this now (yawn yawn) who are you blaming for the draw at Yeovil then against 10 men ?

But if the clubs version is untrue, then they will stop the player giving his side of the story. Ive heard a different story than that on the official site. This and it invloved a face to face argument with a senior coach, in which shop floor language was used, nothing more nothing less, which caused a massive over reaction by the senior coach.

If your face does not fit then you have to move on. Jones is still young, but if a club no longer want you its better to move on at the end of the season. It happens in football. All clubs have ex players who have left for one reason or another and some have done well. If he does well elsewhere thats the chance you take. All i was saying is that it seems he hasnt been given a chance to prove to the fans what he can offer. One poster mentions the Exeter game, when it is common knowledge that we as a team have the worse second half record in the division as stated on sky sports.
