Curtis did a decent job for us, at a time we were struggling and you'd have to admit, even with his shortcomings, he was head and shoulders better than what we have now
Not really ‘admit’. That sounds like I’d begrudge saying it. I thought he was excellent.

Bradford would be daft to not recall Doyle in January if it’s an option. Even if he fails to score the goals for them when recalled at least he won’t be doing it for Swindon who could cost Bradford a promotion spot come May. They’d be foolish to allow him to help get Swindon promoted.
Like Doncaster did with us and Main? Their fans’ fume about that was hilarious

And Rooney scored. And Dieng. And obvs Doyle

Obita was so bad. The others though... miss you guys....
On the plus side, O’Connell (?) scores an og for Rochdale

Doyle has scored again.

No, we are treated with contempt and expecting even the basics from the club is an inconvenience to the arrogant, poisonous, half-wits running, sorry, destroying the place
But but but.... he gave us scarves... an escape from L1 stagnation... and then 18 months of pissboil...

Avoids the point I'm making. If you wanted people to use it, what reason could they possibly have to remain anonymous when everyone knows our fans hate cloak and dagger?
Probably because our fans hate. No matter what / who / why!
Edit: No point attracting the hatred ‘just in case’ plan x is executed?

Voted FLG but no idea why. Please can someone summise the political issues that are going on?
AL: You’re fired. You’re fired. You’re fired.
AL: You’re hired even though you’re shit.
Trust: WTF is going on?
AL:
Trust: honestly, we demand to know what’s going on. Or else...
AL: Everything’s fine. Corney was a bad egg but we’ll sort everything ner bother.
Trust:
AL: You’re fired. You’re fired. You’re fired.
AL: You’re hired even though you’re shit.
Trust:
FLG: This is bollocks. We have a clown owner who is going to take us into liquidation and a stand that could earn money sitting there earning fuck all. We have a bit of money, passion, and business acumen. Let’s buy it and see whether we can look at making money for the club / look at owning the ground so the home of Latics is safeguarded.
AL:
FLG: AL, can we look at the contracts. They’re pretty much the same as you’ve paid before - but 4% more, but we’ll guarantee you more income from matchdays.
AL:
...........
AL: These FLG guys are holding the club to ransom. Not gonna say why, like.....
FLG: Hi?
AL:
............
AL: And anyway, you’ve been charging us £100k and it should’ve been £1. We’ve ‘just’ found some paperwork..... Turns out our due diligence was slightly flawed. And that’s why we’ve decided not to pay you for the last few months . Oh, we’ll get our lawyer to write to you to find out wtf is going on because we have no idea how to run a piss up in a brewery.
FLG:
AL: Hi, I’m New Fan. Hi, I’m John Newbury. I just happen to have come into some knowledge and thought I’d make my first comments on OAFC using this new knowledge....
Trust: This is fine ️

“On the balance” of probabilities, based on current available evidence, and what I know as FACT on each side, FLG FTW.

Sorry, I thought I'd read that last bit as something completely different.
So, you're ripping off your own husband as well! Shame on you.
@leeslover, put your foot down with a firm hand. Or summat like that.
Or accept that times have changed, and sometimes women and men share the breadwinning and homemaking according to their skills rather than a culturally outdated idea of gender roles....

Same situation here. I went grafting all day. Came home and tea was ready and he’d even done a load of washing. Matriarchy.

The football club needs money coming from sponsorship, Advertising, transfer fees and more importantly through the turnstiles and its here are the most important to the club.. so lets say all those who havent bought seasons tickets stopped going the club would have major problems.. so boycotting is never a positive forward step.
I’d do that if I trusted him to spend my money responsibly. But I don’t. So he’s getting none of it.

To show a REAL act of defiance
Choose s home game
Huge numbers boycott
Or attend and stay silent, don't buy anything etc
And that might be the start of the outcome of a meeting. Currently, we have a fuck load of people really unhappy with what’s going on, doing a fuck load of different things to make their stance known. Except there are so few doing each stance, nothing is getting heard.
There’s a chance of being more united.
Or we can just carry on - some of us boycotting, some of us going then griping about the facilities / team

what gettng the owners or Club representative to the meeting? ..
Yes

could do with trying to get the owners this meeting otherwise it will be nothing more than a meeting between fans in which nothing more will progress..1 or 2 might boycott which does nothing than hurt the finances of the club,so try to get the owners at the meeting
That’s the worst suggestion I’ve ever heard.

I’m torn. I almost don’t want any good manager under the clowns. They’ll get no support or just pressure from the hierarchy and do badly / walk / get sacked soon after - and never want to come back, and that’ll be our chance of a decent manager at a time they can make a difference... gone.
On the flip side, who wants a string of shit, uninspiring, thick, lying, puppet managers?
