On the subject of 09 films...I saw Valkyrie yesterday, really good.

 

Just Slumdog, Defiance, Seven Pounds and Benjamin Button (when it comes out) to check off my 'to watch' list...

Got them all on DVD and theyre all good films. Benjamin Button is a bit long though, paused it an hour and half in and realised I was only half way through the film, good though.

Defiance is very good if you can get past Daniel Craigs acting.

Slumdog is awesome. Nothing more to say really.

Seven Pounds is slow but when youve finished watching it you think, yeah that was ok, but for the majority of it you are bored and feel its dragging.

Got Frost Nixon but not seen it yet. Watching the Reader and Revolutionary Road tonight

It would be interesting to see how the country would look if it was run with nothing but common sense and logic. That is a thought fantasy that occurs to me every day. The thought popped into my head today after Health & Safety told us that we have to keep all the doors at work shut and not stack our papers...........in case of fire. I work in a typical small 2 storey office building.

 

Oh, and I had to have a 'hearing test' today. WTF? If you were having trouble with your hearing you would probably figure it out without the aid of a test! Anyway, I did as well as you can do.

What happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch. Every footballer Ive known apart from a few odd job nut heads have had a fall out on the pitch. When theyve walked off theyve shook hands and had a pint with each other in the bar with no hard feelings. If you cant do that then you have mental problems and if you think theres now a rift in the camp between Hughes and Taylor and one should leave then you aint far off the same ;)

Depends on what sort of life you want to live but there are many countries better to live in. Not that I think Britain is a bad place to be tbh, I count myself to be quite lucky living here
