I know Im making an enemy, but he was once texting one of my mates girlfriends who was 17 at the time. We rang him up and sung something along the lines of 'You paedophilic, Portugese :censored:, get out of our club'.
hahahahahhaha brilliant, BUT that could be the reason he left.. not so brilliant
-
not too bad, never going to reach top ten mind... unless of course you bleep out the ':censored:' and you have a 'chance'
-
jinxIt's brought latics luck over the last 20 years........
-
i don't know but it's stuck in my head now, and I will be singing this at 9.30 in the morning at my maths exam... hope it brings luck eh

yesI was born in Malta and only moved to Oldham in my teens. Based on the place of birth theory should I be supporting Sliema Wanderers?
-
I was in Florida in my fluorescent yellow oldham shirt and a man in his early fourtys was in the cue for 'hulk' the roller coaster right in front of me wearing the SAME top... No it wasn't my dad!My Auntie was in Cyprus a couple of years ago and she took her son to a zoo in his Latics shirt and to her surprise a man who worked there was a Latics fan from Stalybridge! Anyone else had something similar to that happen?

glad he's signed for another 12 month, think he'll be a cracking player for us next season BUT the build up for it all wasnt needed!
-
The rest I would piggy back away from the club if a better player became available
most ridiculous statement ive heard in a long time elvis
-
1067 sold as yet
-
hang on.. i think ive just seen someone accuse croft of not showing pride in the blue shirt? for me - even when he wasnt a fit in the first half of the season he STILL was the only one at the end of the match giving 100% so please no one judge his pride in the shirt
-
richie wellens was very lazy, but we all forgave him because of his ability
-
i rate tarky, still only a young lad and great on the ball - just needs to be more clinical with his decision making.. as for belezika he shows promise but cant say in the games he played he did enough for me to make a decision on whether he'll be an asset or a good player
-
not that it matters.. we never fill the seats, can sit anywhere with your stI'm planning on getting a season ticket this year rather than paying on the day... Does anyone know where a proper seating plan of the ground can be found since the website just lets you guess where you want to sit and I'd rather be as close to my normal seat as possible and never had cause to check the row/seat number

from what you hear about smith... he isn't bothered about money in the slightest - his dad has a wad and he himself has a degree and said before we offered him the contract he could of been earning a lot more money elsewhere but his love for football made him decide to come to BP - so money won't be a factor of what club he chooses, it will be what offers him more in terms of learning and improving or playing at a great ground with a bigger team!
-
a good idea, but should of been something better organised... not enough notice for fans to come along now unless they have banks full of money.
something that can be worked towards for next year though, maybe this year go somewhere closer to home
-
ive got a better picture then this one given, but cant seem to upload it
-
wow, that is awful
-
and when they were shouting the keeper... was awful! the game was bad enough without them lot.Thought it was me going mad worse thing was when they started to sing oh Shrewsbury is full of :censored:.
-
definitely rather play an SPL team or prem, but if we go down the usual route of local non league teams i dont see the harm in playing two teams with decent support and local!Kieran another point of friendlies is testing the players against fairly decent opposition going beating a team 5-0 6-0 at Boundary Park won't benefit them. Be a tougher game at gigg lane. Rather play a SPL team or lower ranked Prem side.
-
spot on, that was awful listening to them four, couldnt bare it!I know it was an end-of-season dead rubber and we were poor, but take Shrewsbury for example. I'd have much rather heard a bit of drumming than the four pissed teenagers' painful renditions of Oh When The Blues. It most likely would have got a few more singing.
-
that was what i was thinking!FC United would be an interesting one. Money-Making too i'd guess.
-
they bring more to away games.. they played newcastle town and took just short of 2000, us being Oldham and them being all ex United fans they will bring a fair few to our ground, i remember when our reserves played them at BP and they brought about 300 and didnt stop singing all game - put the game on at BP would bring money in and a bit of an atmoshpere; a lot better then many other pre season games at BP that are like going to church
-
sorry sir, will correct my spelling for you next timeis that pronounced freendlies?
-
about the last two drummers... the one before Ben was class, went most away games, especially the big ones where we needed an atmosphere and can remember one instance huddersfield where he did the same song for half an hour so for me he was the best drummer up to now, touhy was class for the two cup games though!Atleast LJ idea about the drum is a way forward and the young lad who did it last season Ben, was better than the previous two drummers. If people do not like it sing louder.
I will donate to playershare if......
