I had a really long think about this & I will decline. For me I'm not massively passionate about going to Liverpool and if I take the ticket I may end up ruining someone's Xmas/only chance of going to Anfield by taking the ticket & i wouldn't want that

Don't get me wrong i really really like Latics & am desperate for them to win & the other 19 premiership clubs would have really appealed to me

Each to their own, but the day I don't get excited about watching us play one of the biggest teams in the world, in one of the most famous stadiums in the world, in front of 45,000 fans is probably the day I've given up liking football..

 

I think a lot of it is I don't want to do the 5hr round trip just to get a ticket mate

I loved Anfield last time although its an absolute :censored:hole, there fans made only 1/10 of the noise I expected from there but I was there to watch Latics not Liverpool just like at league games.

I hope everyone has a great time & we bring them back here & pocket some money out of it

I have to be honest im not actually arsed about going.. am I the only one?

Saving money for Stevenge at home, Walsall away and then an away trip to Port Vale 18th Jan as never been there all very close together games.

If we take them back to BP I will get a ticket then but its down to the fact its Liverpool again had been even say Sunderland away I would have been more tempted

When was the last time that we won 2 away games in the same week? Especially only a few days apart

It shows how poor officals at all levels are sadly. Granted its not an easy job but looking at incidents like Kusunga & Brown this weekend for Sunderland into context with what Rooney did & Gerrard leaning with an elbow in the Merseyside derby says its all about who you are these days

I don't think anyone can say its biased as fans as 90% of us are saying Kusunga should be but how Kedwell stayed on is beyond me

Remember Philliskirk can play wide but he is a little wasted as he is too good to not be involved in the game

Makes sense a winger as well to me as its a long time to go if 1 was to get injured we would be well short

What's Crofty up to these days...Never going to happen & massively out of shape again at a guess but a very good player at this level lives locally & im sure the fans would be happy

Only 8 months after he could have managed Latics could be set to return to Palace & now the bookies favourite. I'm amazed not that even mourinho could keep them up.

He once left Palace as he wanted to live closer to home & 1 week later ended up managing Charlton
