Rooney was poor when he came on, I agree. For me JCH would have been the better option in this game, but it's a bit harsh on Montano, yes he wasn't very good but he isn't match fit at all and just had an operation, he'll be fine with some more minutes under his belt. Would keep the team as it is for me though! Wes MOM

Massive improvement from the boys after recent weeks, really pleased with a point against top of the league! Onwards and upwards!
-
Joe Royle. If not, Warren Feeney for me.

Anyone with any kind of footballing knowledge will know that Lee Johnson could possibly be the best thing to happen to Oldham Athletic in 20 years
New ideas, New ways of working, these are the things that will set the teams apart that can't spend £250 million in one summer
The people who are calling for LJ to leave will be the reason this club dies, and that there is a FACT
Bang on!

Think McDonald is, but I agree with the other three...
Which is funny really because out off all of them when they first signed he was the one that came with the least excitement, at the moment anyway it's a shame.

I'm MainStandBob. Been going to Boundary Park since 1974.
Stop buzzing.

This is brilliant, the season has barely started!

The reaction to this dreadful draw is hilarious. Fair enough, it was a crap performance but all teams have those. It's not a great result but it's not a terrible one either.
From what I've read Mills, Wes, Dayton, Schmeltz, JCH and, most of all, Rooney are now :censored:. So much for promotion, playoffs, Premier League in the next few years...
I'm not as giddy about LJ as a lot of people. He talks a good game, is likeable and appears to have potential but I'll be convinced when he starts producing results over a prolonged period.
That said, I think the signs are promising and I won't be writing him or his players off after ten games or so.
Two things worry me slightly: zero clean sheets and lack of that final ball in creating goals, especially following Baxter's departure.
This all over.

He's here to rail against negativity in all it's forms. Regardless of whether it actually exists or not.
You can't be serious! It's :censored:ing everywhere.
-
Quite a few compared to the overhauling majority calling him :censored:, donkey etc and then moaning at him during games. Of course there were a few that were supportive of him, as was I. I'm just saying that the majority of our fans get on the backs of players when it's totally unjustified, Rooney? 3 goals for him and our leading goalscorer, of course he could of been playing recently but getting on his back will make him better will It? Leave it out

I think the manager is very confused at the moment, his head must be spinning with a multitude of theories, all the qualifications and a well thumbed UEFA coaching manual won't help him.
This is why an experienced assistant manager should have been his first major signing.
And how many of them are knocking around?
-
Just saying, people get on players backs when they're in bad form when they actually need out support. Matty did it all himself, and the fickle fans came out when he was scoring and were his biggest fans then! Players need our support, not constant :censored:e and also using them as scapegoats.
-
He has talent but imo he's not a winger.
Just my opinion but i'd play him in behind the front man ahead of corey smith.
Out of interest because you seem to have a lot of opinions and obviously know what you're talking about (sarcasm). Who would you play next week? What starting XI? Because with who you've slagged off I don't think there are many players left...
-
Matt Smith, the same player who was also slagged off continuously by everyone here? Hahaha this is brilliant.
-
I agree with you Kieran, it's boring and it's laughable.
-
Steve Kabba
-
Of course having an opinion saying we were bad today is fine, I'm not saying anyone shouldn't because I agree but coincide that with a number of fans who have something to moan about every single week it gets a bit boring.
-
Yes I'm not saying 'don't have any opinions' I'm just saying that some fans, not necessarily you just moan non stop, I'm not aiming it at anyone specifically. And it's annoying to see, how anyone can say 'Johnson out' or 'get rid of all this deadwood is beyond me' especially when them same ones would have been buzzing with the signings and had high expectations
-
Yet another terrible performance from the match officials, bad decisions all game for both sides!
-
Because we have seen today's performance too many times.
Have we this season? No we haven't. We've seen good, dominating performances that we should have been picking points up from, people have been moaning that we haven't been playing ugly and picking up points the hard way. We do that today, pick up a point and what happens? More :censored:ing moaning.
Zzzzzzzzzzz
-
Why can't we never just take a point and move on, always trying to find scapegoats etc and moaning. Tedious. Same and same again every week.
-
1-0 down after 7mins.
Think the honeymoons over LJ,time to earn your pay and get some of the deadwood OUT
Shut up.
-
Kirk Millar was so ineffective today, completely the wrong game for him to be brought on with the way we were playing and the size of their defenders, for me Rodgers should have been brought on for Wes or even Smith who was :censored:e today. Very rare bad day at the office for him.

I would like
Oxley
Lanzoni Tarky Grounds Mills
Montano Smith Wes Dayton
Rooney MacDonald

Disagree with that, thougt Dayton played well today, looked most likely for the first 15/20 minutes, took some big hits and carried on trying to get in their faces, did well.
