  1. 600k Pah they don't even get his bad foot for that. Double it minimum, but considering he was in the league 1 team of the year, is capable of playing on either flank, can go up front (and if Joe is right could end up there), has just signed a new contract, is a genuine Oldham fan (and so's his Dad) I'd say we'd be daft to sell for anything less than 1.5 mill with some nice add ons. We are not that hard up- the owners aren't going to let our best playing asset (with the possible exception of 20% of Micah) for cheap. This is the mirror not knowing its arse from its elbow and picking a player at random and a price at random for a new Premiership team.

As to his foot having seen Chris walk down the steps from quite close if he's faking that then he should give up football and move into acting- he'd win an Oscar. That injury is 100% real and there is no cover-up- or at least that's what I think Kungfoo is asking when I managed to read what they wrote.

sell him!!!! hes over rated £600k is a good piece of business put a sell on clause aswell because he might be a good player 1 day

its shockin to think hes our best player shows how good we are. team throw 2 players on him and hes buggered.

sorry to chris taylor fans by the way i no you wont like me sayin this

  2. Maybe they would. Who knows?

It has been done in secret, though. Even if somebody's workmate 'no's it.

Edit to add that what I meant to write here was that it HASN'T been done in secret.

dont take my word for it because it might not be true im just sayin thats what he told me.

  3. Who was the City chairman when they offered us the paltry sum? Was it Shinawatra? Or please dont say John Wardle!

it was only a few weeks ago when i got told this the guy came into work and said

"i no why the owners arent moanin about money anymore its because theyve broke even by acceptin an offer for richards"

this guy is an oldham fan not a city fan windin me up but i dont no if it could stay quiet if it went through so thats why i dont

believe it fully but it wouldnt suprise me 1 bit if it was true

  4. I think in such a case the value of the transfer would be determined by the FA, same as if a cash plus player deal was offered.

12 Mill for the both of them seems a bit low, think they would be looking for at least 5 mill for sturridge

i heard we cashed the 20% clause in for about £250k

its only what i heard though. a lad at work knows the main guy on the trust board.

didnt no whether to believe it or not though. sounds like summat they would do though.

  5. Just got back to my laptop after being at the match. A fantastic finish today of course, but once the euphoria began to wear off, I had to admit we were a bit lucky to get three points. We were well on top in the first half but there was only one team in it for most of the second half. Once it got to 2-2, I really expected us to lose, Millwall were so much in control. But we started to make a chance or two in the last 10 minutes and the winning goal was a cracker. In fact all three goals came from excellent crosses with Taylor’s a really brave close-in header and Hughes’s quite beautifully taken.

Taylor was our outstanding player for me; so dangerous every time he had the ball. Hazell had a fine match and Maher was impressive – some faults but it is hard to see on this showing why he gets dropped. Kabba looked a potential asset – pace, good control and an eye to play others in.

But overall, we still do not look impressive enough. Even when we were on top, too many high balls were being hoofed forward as our main line of attack and once Millwall came back we seemed unable to win the ball in midfield or hold on to it when we did. I think they would be very disappointed to have got nothing out of it. Our big test will come on Monday night – win that and I will believe we can do something.

until we play another "nobody team and lose and then it will be shez out!!!"

  6. plays for kettering now, got mentioned in the cup build up, but he was injured and didnt play today.

also baudet sent off again in their 5-1 drubbing at northampton,

see we arent the only ones to let 5 in.

crewe are bottom so its expected for them now to get battered by 5goals, however we were 3rd remember and i think hereford were 23rd. big difference to compare us with crewe

  7. good , lets keep it that way now, put eardley up for sale with a price ticket thats not too high.

abit shakey at times but to be fair he had alot to do in the 1st half with them basicly havin a free man out wide and he was bril. hes had abit of stick lately but to be honest id like to see eardley play at left back

i doubt hed do any better than lomax. well played

  8. I wouldnt necessarily say off. I think its more the fact they will be staying with their respective clubs on loan until Jan/Feb minimum. Also think O'Grady will be back and playing here when his loan finishes, i think sometime this week or next?

yeah i dont think o grady was given permission to play today no doubt he will be in the team for the replay at bp.

even though i thought hughes was immence it has to go to alesandra simply because of the hatrick. his goals were taken very well also. thought gregan was amazin in the 2nd half aswell.
