    the club can be very shortsighted at times , my two nephews came up from Nottingham the other weekend and because they were both 16 and over one had possession of a student card one didn't , i was informed they would have to pay adult price for the both of them ? eventually they let us purchase 2 student tickets and one adult but were informed that if this was to happen again they would have to pay for ---- OAFC STUDENT MEMBERSHIP CARD - £15 how does that work , no wonder i cant persuade them to stop supporting notts county ,lol

    So Manchester City, don't tell me that micah Richards going out on loan has anything to do with Oldham athletic being entitled to 20% of any transfer fee, you not only poached him off us, you then screwed us at the end, theres me thinking city were the ethical club in Manchester.     just a few from the latest trip, if you haven't been to mexico i strongly recommend , highlight for me was seeing sea turtles the size of tables come up the beach under moonlight to lay 100+eggs , " Simply Awesome holiday "

    Not the prognosis i was hoping for but at least its concluded, ACL rupture, floating cartilage,meniscus tear and a cartilage defect . i reckon quite a few months before im able to cycle , but as was on my freinds says " ill just have to get massive" lol onwards and upwards !

    A gym contract with a private company would typically pay £200 k a year , so hoping mr gorney done his homework , especially with the location ,ie all themotorway links and all prime A roads , here hoping !!!

    Today was a reasonable game and my brother in law and 4 of the family came up from Notts as they are fans . I have been watching Oldham for 40 years and was watching on my own from behind the notts team dugout only able to watch approx 10 games a season due to work commitments and a shift work life style ,there is many a conversation in are household about the family all going on match-days but today was a vindication of why i don't bring my young family ! i know football is a extremely passionate game and believe me i am not easily offended but Greg Abbott's behavior and in particular his choice language is an example of why football will never be a family spectacle. every second word was effing and jeffing and more pressing aggressive and confrontational he was an absolute disgrace!!!, and frankly embarrassing. How can the football league and in particular at the games the officials not do anything about this , how do they expect families to come and watch and enjoy ? How can a player on the field be able to control his emotions when those who are coaching him have no regard for the individuals around him and watching fans. Why do non of the officials take task with this and deal with it ?, is it acceptable for this behavior? I don't think im alone with this opinion perhaps if the powers that be were brave enough to deal with this or at least may be oldham be brave enough to actually enforce via their stewards a zero tolerance on certain behaviours in a dedicated part of the ground perhaps more families as a whole would attend ? ooooh roger palmer coops

    Special well done to Fran Davies as despite her chain falling off and then her bike combusting in edgeley she managed to get another bike and complete the whole 50 kilometres with help from her son and husband, :)
