  1. The permanent manager has to be appointed with games to play so he can assess the squad and determine who should stay, who should go and what he needs.  (aside "manager doesn't pick team or squad")  Ah so we could just have no one.

Wouldn't it be a really good idea if the brothers Lemsagam did take over the management/coaching until the end of the season and we didn't win another game.

  2. Protesting, marching, throwing things are all a waste of time.  They might make you feel better but a waste of time.

The only thing that has some chance of working is a boycott.  To stop supporting your/our club is a difficult thing.  Do I throw 27 years down the drain and not renew my season card?  Are we willing, by removing our support, to relegate our club from the EFL?  It is a simple but very difficult choice.

  3. What a clusterfuck that was.  I thought after Tuesday anyone with half a brain could see how poor Chris O'Grady is.  Wrong!  Lang injured and on with the 'clusterfuck'.  First long ball watched the defender.  Second long ball didn't even leave the ground.  All he had to do was hold the ball.  Not once.  A nice flick on the only positive bit of play.  Everyone else played their part but Chris O'Grady let us down.  We would have been better off taking Lang off and replacing him with no one.

Disappointed?  You bet two points thrown away.

  4. What a wonderful thread this is.  We have just exhausted the New Manager speculation only to get potentially six months of everyone free to speculate on who and why and what and could we (the Trust) purchase Boundary Park with all the people who know who and why and what sworn to silence.  Manna from heaven.

    Go to it..............

PS I think it is the thing that I could have said I told you so only I'm not going to tell (confidentiality of the urinal - boys will understand).  But if it is it will be some of the best news we have heard for a long long time.

  5. A great performance. Carried on playing football against provocative and an impotent ref who thought it was all about him. Foul on Hamer should have been a red. Having got away with it he did the same to George but then realised a third attempt might get that useless self important ref to do something. They came for a draw, thought they could kick us off the ball and we stayed true and run out deserved winners. Hope is back. Team set up to win. Maouche did a job in defence then stepped up after Jose went off to score.  Yeeha!!!!

  6. Just imagine a situation in which you allow a football agent to buy a 97% stake in a football club because he says I've passed my interest in the agency to a third party "allegedly" a relative and then you allow that club to take on a manager who holds a 10% share in a club likely to be in the same football league division next year because the manager says I don't really do anything for them.  Coach & Horses comes to mind.

Don't get me wrong Paul Scholes can only give Abdallah a wake up call when it comes to respective roles so I'm interested to see it happen.  He was the best footballer bar none in the position he played and hopefully some of that will rub off onto our players.

  7. In order to reach the playoffs we have to gain the same number of points from 17 games that we have managed from 29.  In other words we can only drop 12 points.  So the order of the day now should be to develop our own players - the ones we have held on to -  Hamer, Hunt, Edmondson, Stott etc.  Why it was left too late to be worthwhile before signing the strikers and a defender we no longer need just beggars belief.
