not just the substitution he got wrong today.he had 2 left backs on the bench and played a right back at left back. First half we played ok i thought looked quite dangerous so why look to make a change straight after half time. He didnt have to start pissing about so early in the second half. then he takes simpson off who had been ok and left taylor on who had been utter gash.(has he got it in his contract taylor that he cannot be subbed)then he takes clarke off who is an attacking threat so then we are left with absolutely no outlet from the back. then he takes off arguably our best player(wesolowski)and leaves a midfielder on who would win the world hide and seek championship hands down. Totally tactically inept and apart from last week it happens every time we go behind or after half time. I would love to be a fly in the wall in dickovs half time team talks.

I know of 4 people who are only still going this season because they have a season ticket and have said that if penney is still in charge next season they will not be renewing them. If i know 4 how many have the same attitude. I worry that attendances will be down to 2500 next season coz it really is shiite to watch and certainly aint worth 20 quid

A 'Rumour' is going around the Penney is going to walk today 'Monday' and Ritchie is already his replacement with Bunn 2nd in command as apparently he has completed his coaching badges, I have been informed this info is from someone within the club but honestly don't know what to make of it.

If this was to happen would it be a good move or not, or would you want to give Penney more time, I�m honestly on the fence with this, although i love Ritchie could he actually do something with the team of players we have? As any one else heard anything like this or could it just be a complete farce!

My door opens outwards so not likely. Sorry obviously not a loyal fan because I am not willing to spend £20 to watch utter :censored:e which is what it has been for the last 10 months. Cannot remember the last time I got excited about going to watch Oldham or the last time I actually enjoyed a game. And it hurts to say that after 30 years of loyal support

well that me done this season then. said after the hartlepool game, i will not waste £20 to watch a team that is as good as 1-0 down before kick off. Until they drop NOT SO that is going to be the case every week

just a reality check for all you pessimists out there:

 

- sheridan is the manager at chesterfield and has a contract there

- sheridan lost control of the dressing room and results declined from there

- sheridan did well but he IS NOT going to come back and everyone calling for his return will regret it if he ever does

 

we have had some bad results but dave penney is changing the way we play and even though we have not played well, you can see that we are starting to get there. anyone calling for a new managers head after SIX games needs to be checked by a doctor. what use would a new manager do? he'd change it all over again, bring in more players and disrupt the team even more and THEN we'd get relegated like everyone is predicting.

How the hell can you say we are getting there. Every home game we have got progressively worse. I thought teams were supposed to improve as they got to know each other not get worse.

Wasnt it refreshing to see a manager who can change is tactics and formation to suit a game. And moving holdwaorth into centre midfield to protect him from getting sent off was a masterstroke that I am not used to and havent been for many years. The more I see of Penney the more impressed I am.
