spoke to him last week. He is really going for it this season. He has cut out the booze and is built like a brick s/hithouse.

Best and funniest I have seen was the season we got promoted. Went to Hull City and got played off the park 1st half and were 1-0 down at half time. Andy Payton scored for Hull 5 minutes into the 2nd half and instead of turning the knife, preceded to time waste for the next 40 minutes.

Then out of nowhere Nick Henry and Redders scored in the last 2 minutes and we scraped a draw. Can still see the shock on the Hull fans faces.

Do you mean the 11 games he played under Moore or his first full season under Shez? Either way, I must disagree. He might not be continously taking the entire left/right wing on, because, like most wingers, they get worked out. Instead, and if anyone can deny this I'm shocked, Taylor has developed other areas to his game. The fact that he's areal threat at the back post, the fact that he can cut inside now, and can do what he's done in terms of dribbling around defenders. He's now a goal threat, and he can still take on the left/right wings.

 

I side with Shez, Grayson and O'Drsicoll in their rating of Chris.

The best way to guage how good your own players are is to ask the opposition fans and every time I have asked opposition supporters who they think our best player is they all say taylor

could not go to the game yesterday but my dad went and said that wellens played. now I know i`m not a football manager but why would Wellens not be in the Doncaster side on Friday and they still have the second leg to go but he was allowed to play in a meaningless game yesterday. I actually had a mate who claimed he was a united fan and when we got to the premier league, he was suddenly a latics fan and actually came to wembley with us and supported latics against united. chris makin and nick henry are retired aint they? not sure about bernard but i presume he too is retired. one man who would, without doubt be in the team, and still playing IF he didnt get an injury at such a young age, would be Carl Serrant. However he got injured and that was the end of that.

I got told he was ready to play but got a bad knock on his Knee (and or ankle) during training late on Thursday. He waited to see if it felt better on friday but it didnt, hence the reason he didnt play.

 

My son seemed gutted when i told him he wouldnt meet Chris, but his face lit up when i said Allott would be doing it instead.

you really do talk derek havent spoke to the other 20 teams fans obviously but i know a lot of people who think taylor is our best player if you dont like chris taylor then and dont talk about it because obviously you are right

I think to genuinely get an honest opinion on a player you only need to speak to the opposition fans and I have spoken to 3 different sets this season and they all think the ginger one is our most dangerous player

Can understand everyone's frustration at level of recent performances at BP - early on in season we were battering teams and not getting deserved goals but of late performances have dropped a bit as well. Shezza wont panic buy gladly but it is glaringly obvious we are short up front. Keep singing and shouting and eventually we will get a home win and then we can push on from their (hopefully wont be TOO long away!)

....particularly with a natural left footed player sat on the bench for the whole of the 90+ minutes that Rubes was being fleeced. Sheridan just needs to learn from his mistakes, but unfortunately he is too stubborn to believe he makes them (Quote: "Some of the fans think they know better than me, but they don't"). Anyone who was sat close enough to witness the way our substitution was handled on Saturday could only laugh at the ineptitude and uncertaintity that surrounded it.

Much as I'd like to see someone experienced alongside Shez, I think he may be a little too pig-headed to listen to anyone else.

As for motivation, I've never heard any of our most critical mainstand moaners match some of the demotivating comments Shez has levelled at young players this season.
