  1. Been a very welcoming Forum as an Evertonian over the last few days. Thanks. Just a few questions; Who are your bitterest rivals, and why? (Could probably guess!) Everton? Seriously, view from you guys. Liverpool? Ditto. Next 5 years for Oldham; hopes versus reality. Just interested. Cheers. R
  2. Was a decent side then, but didnt really have the (supposed) quality we have ATM. If Gibson had emerged in any midfield other than the one he was in at Utd, he would be much more appreciated. To think we sold Rodwell to Man City for £12m, and replaced him for £500k! "Quiet but effective", Spot on that.
  3. Totally agree mate. My fave by a mile. Saw them in Bristol on the BIB tour, Bjs first UK gig, then 30 years later with me lad on the Black Ice tour. Made me feel well old!
  4. Love the edits! FFS, you will have down as a Kopite before long!
  5. We are praying that Neville & Hettinger are either busted in the Saville enquiry, suspended, proven to have been staying with Oscar Pretorious the other night, or get drafted into the England ODI cricket squad in New Zealand. Anything, please! Telling you, if they BOTH play, you have a real chance down the left, and with Smith, to cause carnage. Lets face it, Saturday was a well matched game, (insert cliche here), but over in effect 2 legs, we should have the better man for man team, and prevail. But....... If you know Evertonians, we dont do gloating, (other than that lot), and we dont do disrespect. We KNOW we were in a real game against you, and I think you saw the difference from the shower that turned up in the previous round. Player who should make a difference, if fit, is actually Darren Gibson. Makes us tick usually, which for £500k, is well in.
  6. Its a long story, but a combination of a mate who is a mega Latic fan, another mate called Andy Ritchie, (really, but not THE Andy Ritchie), and Big Joe all combined when you were in the Prem to make me take an interest in the club. Always looked out for them. Also, for 30 odd years I have lived in Bristol, and always looked at Oldham and saw them as an example that it is possible for an unfashionable club to reach the heights. Sadly, not yet for Bristol City. Also, BTW, really good forum! Without wanting to sound patronising, some of the, *ahem* "smaller" clubs forums can be a bit unwelcoming. Not here though. ( Is that really your favourite AC/DC album?)
  7. Haha!. Unlike some in our fair city, my shoulders are broad and chip free.
  8. Well thats a load of rubbish. Great cross IMO. Your lad didnt have to break his stride FFS. *WTF am I on Oldhams board again?*
  9. Really?? We have been assuming the 27th, but wernt 100% for some reason. Dumb arse Scousers us lot!
  10. Hi Lads, like you lot, we have been waiting on final confirmation on replay details. This is the latest from Everton. Not a lot of help I know, but there you are for now. Cheers Subject to live TV selection, the game is set to take place at Goodison on 27 February at 7.45pm.
