  1. Nobodies been involved in as many games as Mellon, after that hand on heart I bet he can't say he's seen or been involved with a bigger shower of shit in his whole life and it's his fucking tactics causing it the clown.

We know there's work to do and we know we won't win every game but I'm sorry it's just fucking stupidity to crack on with those tactics, we did away with it against Chesterfield and guess what we played some fucking football but that wasn't enough to convince Pep Mellon that there is more than one way to play a game of FOOTball.

Considering it’s 2 years since having a proper right back at the club, I wouldn’t trust our recruitment strategy to start finding young talented players to sell on.

Something is fundamentally wrong with our recruitment.

I think a DOF is needed.

    Not another wage 🙈

We used 6 players who were 30 yrs plus today, and another 3 who were 28.

We need some youth and energy and what we have he rarely plays.

Where is Sachdev? Why not give Sutton a go at centre back?

Our strikers combined age was 68.....says it all.....

It's a good point, I dont want to watch our pensioners getting the runaround off younger fitter teams, it's soul destroying.

Get Atherton in on the wing, like you say give Sutton a run of games in his favoured position. Just change something because it's patently obvious that this group is going nowhere.

Do you think we should have stuck with Thompson and Redfearn, was it no losses in 6 games with them 2.

At the time I said it wouldn't bother me if Thommo got it for the season if he was given the three or four players we needed as it has been obvious for two season we've no rightback, midfield or consistent wingers but the club plumped for who they thought was the best fit. It's gone pear shaped though in a really bad way and it's starting to make the board look incompetent, particularly on the back of season tickets being rolled out this week.

agree with all the points bar sacking. It’s so counter productive mid season. If they do change direction with I don’t think they should it has to be end of this season.

we are paying the money and it’s MM job to deliver. He needs a full off season the reassemble and push on. I think the most dissapointing thing though is he hasn’t managed to create a style of play or identity or get them to pass it and play like a top side for the division. and therefore u start to really think if he’s up to it

Sorry but he's had near on six month, signed six players, exiled at least half a dozen and we are undoubtedly worse. Why would you waste another season we are rudderless and he keeps picking the same incompetents.

Could he have picked one with a more impressive cv at this level than Mellon?

Depends what you wanted, I wanted Williamson and he's doing a great job at MK and got them up the table and playing decent football in just a few months. Mellon was considered and I shared the view a safe pair of hands but fucking hell he's a dinosaur.

It isn't the chief executive's job to select and coach

    I didn't suggest it was.

He is responsible for Unsworth and the aftermath and I'm presuming he has a say in the direction the club moves, signs the cheques and is partly responsible for creating a culture, all of which he is doing a shit job at.

Whilst I agree MM will be here next season, and DR needs explain why after considerable squad and management investment we are still shit, the accounts make no difference in this league and the pot can indeed be endless!

If the owners/investors wants to invest more money and piss it away in the NL... they can without penalty.

If they haven't got any more that's different and more worrying......

DR won't explain anything, he's fortunate and is pretty much bullet proof but he's doing a fucking shit job of spending others money and running a football club - very badly.

  9. That ref was as bad as you'll ever see, he was totally incompetent but what can we do about that? He was determined to make it about him. I can honestly say it's the first time I've seen a player getting sent off for being fouled and their keeper should of gone for a blatant handball 10 yards outside his area that prevented a goal scoring opportunity. He also missed so many decisions it was actually embarrassing and he looked genuinely out of his depth.

Saying that I'm not making any excuse for the way we set up and played Fylde more than deserved their victory.

  10. Not sure who was Fylde's best player today, was it the referee, Liam Hogan or James Norwood, all three would have a big shout.

Worst I've seen us all season.

Hudson again slow as fuck, all he does is pick it out of the net.

McGahey no words - pub player

Hogan - awful game from him today, shouldn't start the next and if he's involved next season we are fucked again. Walked off at the end like he didn't give a fuck, when you have a captain that limited and prone to errors you are fucked.

    Hobson - 6/10

Kitching - shitting out of tackles all afternoon.

    Sheron - 6/10

    Gardner- 6.5/10

    Conlon - 6/10

Hammond - pulled early which was harsh as there were half a dozen in front of him who could have been subbed.

Garner - Awful and he's started going down now even before the ball gets to him.

Norwood - criminal for the second and his body language is all wrong, in fact he is all that is wrong about this team yet he gets left on the pitch week in week out, nine games without a win with him in the team. Not good enough.

    Dallas - 6/10

Mellon can go for me, he doesn't have a fucking clue how to set us up, he's telling them to hoof it which is just depressing.

When Fondop was sent off they stopped fucking hoofing it and we played a bit of football.

We need a clear out from top to bottom and there's not a chance I'm forking out any money until some changes are made for the good of the football club. It's currently inhabited by the biggest bunch of frauds your ever likely to see.

    Fucking shithouses

Brabin said it wrong in one of the very few interviews he does. I have checked and it didn't quite make it into the top ten crimes of the century :)

My god, come on,  we all know what he was meaning he just said it wrong!!!

I don't know why people get so annoyed with these interviews. It's all mainly waffle which you're slated for or brutal honesty.... which you are slated for.

Some interview though, I'm actually staggered he's been allowed anywhere near one before given the tripe he's spouted.

"We've got ourselves in a position where we can turn the season in to a successful one".

Really? Did he do this interview 5 games ago?.

"I think we are going in the right direction".

    He doesn't seem convinced.

"We strive for consistency in performance and results".

Spectacular fail on that front then, infact I'd go as far to claim the thing he strives for most is our achilles heel.

"Squad which on paper should be competing but was struggling at the bottom".

Not entirely true, we were seven unbeaten in between Rhino going and Mellon coming in, 4 wins and 3 draws including a win away at Altrincham in the Cup so the suggestion we were a lost cause is frankly bollocks.

"We've been saying for weeks now that we don't want to be relying on results that other teams get".

That's exactly were we are at now though isn't it and reaching the playoffs is no longer in our own hands.

"Obviously it's nice when you look at results and your competitors drop points ".

Nobodies dropping more than us at the minute.

"I believe fitness and consistency are getting closer together each week"

Nice to know the fitness is coming along - nearly six months in to their tenure, as for consistency the only thing we are consistent at is being inconsistent.

I know pre match interviews are something nobody wants to do but that one there is about as car crash as it gets.

The plan might be to use him as an experienced, popular squad player rather than building the whole first team around him.

Not for me, look at those we've kept from previous seasons, there's so much to change and I honestly think we need to go in a different direction.

I know he's a model pro, represents the club impeccably and puts most of the squad to shame with his fitness and application but we need better players if we are going to progress. He's out of contract and his wage would be better used elsewhere.

Be good to see those NOT committing keeping quiet when there are questions being asked about the cost of the squad next season. Those buying a season ticket are contributing to the running of the club and backing Frank and co, and ‘buy’ the right to comment.

They've pissed enough money up the wall already to be honest, I don't think they need to worry about my three ton the amount they've spunked away since Frank came in. They are paying Alex Reid about 4 or 5 full price season tickets worth a week to sit at home on his arse for the next 60 weeks. That's around 300 paying customers just on that alone.

Wonder whether Hogan is planning on coaching? He always talks really well about the game. I'd be happy with him staying on as a squad player with some coaching thrown in.

Possibly getting him ready for the main job further down the line.

Granted, this is all speculation based solely on the fact he's a captain and speaks well in interviews!!

Doesn't strike me as a potential manager when I've listened to him if I'm being honest, might as well bring Clarkey back as well to play alongside him whilst we are at it.

Looks set for another year. Looks like we have given up going up this season

Wow he would be one of the first gone for me, captain of a team that's powderpuff and inconsistent, surely we should be going down a different route next season, young dynamic players with hunger, I don't want a team of 30 odd year old journey men who can't play two decent games a week.
