Light years harsh. They were better but we had chances.

Their midfield bossed the second half, I'd say light years a bit harsh also as they'll be one of the best teams we'll face.

Sure we played Portugal a few months back and beat them.

They were massively aided by allowing their capped first teamers (I.e. William Carvalho) play in these championships...something we should've done with sterling/wilshere et al

Too long! Absolutely no need for any of the studio bits with Claridge "triffic, good footballing manning" his way to an easy license fee syphon. Endsleigh League Extra just used to show the goals with a voice over, that's enough. We don't need features showing some other license fee swindler mugging about in corridors at Crawley then chatting to the bloke that picks the socks up off the floor.

 

Just show the goals and incidents, get rid of all the unnecessary frippery.

One of the staff - possibly the physio - has been on claytons with someone in club kit th last 2 lunchtimes doing basic skill work and shuttle runs. Facially I thought the lad looked like Winchester but his build was bigger. He had the body movements similar to how Kilkenny ran around but again was taller. A quick look on google and the pics of this Power guy makes me think it could be him? Will try and get a pic tomorrow when I take the dog out again.

No doubt this will be one of the youth team lads wanting to get ahead in preseason
