Don't understand the argument we need a big name to bring fans back! Like seriously if we brought dowie back would it really significantly increase the number of fans turning up?
End of the day, whoever comes in - if they win games the fans will return.

Seen a few people mention Tony Carss recently, from what I've heard supposedly a very highly regarded coach up at 'uddersfield!
Wouldn't be too disheartened if he was to be appointed, but feel the current consensus is a call for a more experienced manager after Johnson.

If we get promoted we'll piss 7,000 season ticket holders next year...

How did we set up when we got sent packing 4-0 at home?
The total opposite to that, please Dean.

Swindon and MK have made the best use of these mega-academies.
MK have had some brilliant strikers in the past couple of years from the London clubs in Afobe and Bamford, and Swindon have had Luongo, Byrne and Obika all from Tottenham on loan go on to sign permanently - 3 brilliant players at this level and probably very good players in the Championship - as well as Pritchard on loan last season.
Why we haven't been able to make use of having so many big clubs on our doorstep, including the Scouse teams, is really mystifying.
I'd much rather us do what we're doing now - getting young, promising players with a bit of baggage/injuries and turning them round and selling them on!
Instead of having loan players from bigger clubs developing themselves here, then moving on to bigger and better things with us getting zero money for helping..

im happy with our defence atm but Reece Brown would be a great addition, we need to strengthen in other areas first though.
Albeit he was playing for a ridiculously poor team, but I'm sure I remember him being absolutely terrible last away of the season away at Carlisle last year?

I think its important everyone respects one another's stance on this situation.
It is clear to see the signing of Ched Evans has split opinion not only within our small fan base but also nationally.
If one wishes never to attend a game again it is their prerogative to do so, same as if this signing doesn't affect your attendance.

This whole planning in advance to attend an away game really ruins the whole excitement of a random decision to go on a friday night..

I've been going on about this for ages to my mates, we as a club should market ourselves around this concept of 'real football' much more than we do. Whenever I've brought city supporting mates to the game that's the feeling they miss, and with the Athleticos it allows young kids to feel involved with the club, like they can make a difference!
It could hopefully inspire the next generation of fans..

Who needs the special one
We've got the average one ..

Read somewhere that Bristol City used to sing 'Johnson says bounce around the ground' to the tune of 'Yellow Submarine' whilst bouncing up and down when Gary was in charge of them a few years back...
Could we adapt this to our own needs and get the place bouncing on Saturday? Sure Lee would love it, especially as Bristol City fans seem intent on naming him 'Mr Average'
*Edit: Any person diagnosed with old age should refrain from excessive jumping and should simply move their arms up and down as an alternative

If you saw that online from other clubs what would you think? You'd think "what a bunch of sad bastards"
I'd prefer "Rochdale - Even McDonalds :censored:ed off"
This. Make it happen
2,445 attendance and yet another home defeat...
