  1. The Dennis deal is complicated, he is available on a free at the end of the season so if he is sold Macclesfield and Stockport want a share of the fee, Macclesfield have most to lose because he is on fire but Stockport still hold the players registration, he can't be recalled from his loan at Macclesfield as part of the original deal so both teams will have to come to some arrangement.

Turner going to Macclesfield must mean we are hoping for first dibs, Plymouth and Hartlepool have also expressed an interest in a striker who has bagged 130 goals in 191 appearances at non league level.

Sounds like he´ll be heading to offers him the best contract at the end of the season then

  2. A stockport fan I know recogns we have put a bid in for Kristian Dennis who they have sent on loan to Macclesfield.

When I asked bout him he said this

"Injured for long periods last season when with us but was still our top scorer. Our new manager came in and deemed him not worth his high wage and sent him on loan to Macc and he's pretty much fired them to the play off places on his own. Our new manager then left because we can't score for :censored:"

He would do for me surely high wages in that divison would be round about standard wages on our bugdet??

  3. Looks like its happening Shez is coming back home, finally the board have had the back bone to appoint an experienced manager. Bit harsh on Dunn lets not forget this was a lad who had the managers role lumped on him rather than opting for it but he as Kelly before him wernt up to the task.

What we need to do know is give Sheridan the time and backing to get this ship heading the right way!

    Get in to um Johnny!!!

  4. Easy. I don't think they are on general sale yet, but when they are you will get them no problems. Its the only game of the season that ever sells out, but it doesn't sell out straight away. Usually announce it as a sell out a week or two before.

Brilliant not on gerenal sale until Feb

  5. SC cares about the football club, I'm convinced of that. He simply isn't wealthy enough to support us. He needs a combination cup run money, non football related income and the Oldham public to turn up to be able to propel us forwards.

Blitz & Gazal bought the club for its land. It's a contribution to their pension scheme.... To be able to redevelop it.

We are an unsaleable asset without the land and the stands.

Im not saying he doesnt care, im suggesting that hes more than happy for the club survive in L1 one with out ever really pushing as long as the other incomes are secure.

    Only time will tell

  6. I fear we would fester in that division for aslong as we have in L1, SC threatens to resign when it looks like we could be relegated, plus side is theres some new away grounds and some old haunts for a few of us, would relegation give the powers that be a kick up the arse.. maybe, maybe not.. i get the feeling SC is more bothered about getting the commerical side up and running than changing our fate round on the footballing side of things

  7. A few of us are doing both but can see a few dropping out watching the football

The excuse aint hard to find these days are they, each season i build my hopes up to have them trampled on.. when i was younger i didnt mind the relegation battles gave a sort of umpf to the end of the season... now its like we are avioding the inevitable
