  1. People seem to forget that we are currently building a squad, Dieng is a player that is familiar to the club, presumably still living in the area, plays a variety of positions and who won fans player of the year last season.. Would I want him in my squad this season, absolutely.

I read on Twitter that he was a "no show" yesterday, but we should take things we read on twitter with a pinch of salt shouldn't we

  2. I'm amazed so many would relish the idea of Baxter re-signing. This is a guy who got away with a pack of lies about having his drink spiked and then was dabbling again and got caught again. Steer well clear, for me.

I'm not amazed by it, it wasn't long ago people wanted a bloke who may or may not of raped a drunken woman

I'd take Baxter back.. I wouldn't have Ched in spitting distant of our club

  3.

Thought it was very impressive. This video ran on afterwards, unexpectedly good to watch, comes across well and the 16yo kid who interviews him is entertaining:

Seems a nice grounded down to earth lad doubt we will have the problems we had with rusnak from him did anyone else think the young lad interviewing had a look of Butthead about him?

  4. Fully behind Robbo the limited experience he has is quite impressive, he has a support system of his previous manager and O'Driscoll om paper his first three signings are good players for this level of course this game is results driven but I don't see why he can't be a good manager.

As above its time for some positivity not boycotts

  5. Doesn't always work out for players at certain clubs, might come good here.

Just look at Adam Rooney for example. Quite possibly the worst striker I have ever seen pull on a Latics shirt, offered absolutely nothing.

Leaves Latics and is a goal machine.

I didn't think he was that bad, your never going to play to your potential out of position

  6. Why a massive fee? They could just take him and pay minimal compo.

And in 5 years time we will be discussing potential buyers of the player so we can earn a mint from the sell on fee, only to have him sent out abroad to run his contract out and sign for fee ?

  7. Something should definitely be done by the club, or us, or preferably both.....

Once it is let's next do something for Joe Royle while he's still alive. And Ritchie, Pamer, Groves etc....

The new stand could have had some kind of permanent tribute or timeline to our greats and our history and probably still could. We're :censored: at stuff like that....

Wasn't we ment to be having a club museum in the new stand.. our club legends could be commemorated in there.. If it ever gets built that is

  8. The way to get people back on side is

    1. A strong managerial appointment

    2. A statement of intent from the board that 20th is no longer good enough, a statement of how the club is going to be driven forward on and off the field.

    3. An open meeting with Corney and his minions to explain the above let both sides air their grievances and then move forward.

    or

Properly advertise the club is for sale in areas that will generate interest not in Exchange and Mart.

This.. Fans have had enough time for the club to address the issues and put a real effort in to fixing the holes on this sinking ship
