  1. Think that's him done now, didnt go today myself but same old same old from the lads who went.

We have gone from a boring, gritty, goalless, clean sheet machine of last season to a gung-ho style team, missing out a huge area of transition in the middle, 3 oil tankers as defenders wont work if you are pushing further up the field especially if there isnt a tackle in any of your midfield. Gerrard & Clarke worked last season because we sat deep and had no space in-behind and even though they had 2 very limited midfielders infront of them at least they put a foot in and broke play up. Even Iniesta and Xavi had to have a stable base to play from in Busquets.

Be very suprised if he hasnt got a pile of removal boxes outside his door on Monday, sad as it is but nowhere to go from here

I'd rather the club completely go out of existence than see us become their feeder club.

Hated them all my life but they've become everything they hate United for which is at best cringeworthy.

Spot on, you do hear of a few who wish they were back to the days before the Thai crook turned up, a normal club who bobbed up and down in relation to where they were as a club, feel a bit for them tbh had their club changed from what they had grown up with and used to

  3. Not read the thread as abroad at the moment but got sent some clips off 'Youngen' but Clarke deserves a kighthood for his bellyflop on the ball in the closing stages.....love his your not getting anything easy mentality even though he might not be at the top of his game.....and this Byrne lad has the low centre of gravity turns similar to a Hazard style of player......great win the blues.....get in finally

  4. On the general consensus looks like i may have been premature on my 26th minute exit because it sounds like we vastly improved once the first substitution was made.

But we were woeful in the first 20 mins as we have been in pretty much every game this season, going 2-0 and chasing the game and that can only fall on Sheridans head, playing a diamond today was criminal against the best left hand side in the league, Jackson and Holmes are class at this level and leaving the boo boy Banks to cover it was terrible (and i am not a fan of him in the slightest) but i genuinely felt sorry for him today until the 2nd goal.....he never once looked behind him to see 2 lads were behind him and Wilson never balled at him to let him know either, once i left at 0-2 sounds like we showed some bollocks and about time but 0 points after 5 is demoralizing and im struggling to get enthused to go to the games never mind see the 90 minutes out, if that make me a shit fan in some eyes so be it but im 27 and never seen the good days iv seen 21 years of crap 2 play-off pushes and 3 relegation scraps its crap and im losing enthusiasm for the battle now as sad as it sounds

Okay so you agree that today by walking out early your support for the club was good ? Shouldn't just walk out after 20 minuites, no true passionate fan would

No never said it was, but i struggled to get myself their before the game if being honest because im bored to death of it, if true passionates if sat there watching whatever is served up your all better than me in that stake , im just stick to death of watching that shower lack of effort and bad tactics, its painful at times and i want to do something better with my time and at the moment sat in the white hart is better. I pay my money no matter how many minutes i last and in that respect im better than a lot of "latics" fans ib my eyes if you agree or not

Bloody stay in the pub then, don't come to support your club and then walk out on them 1/4 through the match. Pretty demoralising. Bloody hope we win this 3-2 now and you got to experience fucking none of it. no need to get personal fella. (Helmet ? Crash helmet ?)

If we do fair play....ill look stupid but i didnt want to watch anymore of it my choice, iv payed my money i do what i want......i may be an Oldham fan but i also pay to get entertained, after so many years of watching wank and wasting my Saturday im at the end of my tether.....i pay a lot to get a season ticket a lot on here and Oldhan fans dont so i can say what i feel on the subject as i have a right, agree with my feelings or not

  7. He probably has, and i have probably not registered it but has Sheridan said what formation he'd go preferably go with this season?

From the past i think he prefers 2 up top but not sure if he said he likes wing backs or flat back 4.

Looking at the squad would say we are more suited to wing backs but just seem to have a crippling lack of pace in the centre back positions. So would probably go with Markspark92 team above but move Bryan to cb and maybe an odd one but think Edmondson would do a job as a defensive centre mid

Finally a reserve team again.  For too long we've expected youngsters to dive straight into (most likely) relegation dog fits as their debut.

Injured players come back in with no match fitness and get set back further. Helps players in bad form get games without the pressure of the fans.

Feels like we are moving on the pitch again.

A major plus from today in my eyes aswell

"Latics can only name three substitutes this afternoon as Craig Davies, Tope Obadeyi, Ryan McLaughlin, Courtney Duffus, Ryan Flynn, Paul Green, Jamie Stott, and Kyeremah are all ruled out with injury."

Sounds like a serious case of 'shitbags' to me who dont like the thought of being in the firing line.

Im sure i heard Davies had a slight hamstring twinge or something, that was about 14 days ago the soft f**k

  10. The guy is an agent, i said i was against this and people downboated me for it, if he is linked with a takeover, the people who think he isnt going to use that as a way of getting his foot in the door with people he is involved with are deluded as fuck......we are going to end up with a load of no hopers getting signed who may even be as shit as the no hopers we've got now.......if he takes over or is involved with a takeover we will somehow be worse off then where we are now if thats even possible......in a nutshell were fucked

Forward thinking, can thread a lovely though ball, not much use with Holloway on his own with his back to goal is it though?

Haha took the words right out of my mouth, as long as he can find himself inbetween this 50 yard gap we've gathered between the midfield and our 'strikers' he'll do for me
