That's the trouble, replacing like for like in each position in the event of an injury is sadly whats needed to challenge

Yes, but numties will. If the stewards are going to frisk me on the way In you’d expect them to find a canister in my arse pocket. I suspect it’s the yoof bringing them in and adult stewards can’t frisk them.
True, probs the yoof again, bless em

Well if the stewards were competent, then they wouldn’t be in. Fine Bury FC, it’s their ground.
Shouldn't be down to the stewards, fans have been told in the nicest possible way not to bring them in

Decent side he put out today, wish it could be that lot every time

let's hope he's done enough already. the plan may well be to replace him or Dearnley with the young hammer anyway.
No chance, another two goals at least before we can relax, this is Latics!

Shocking result and a shocking manner of defeat. Conceding an early goal is bad enough but to equalise and then let it slip again is unforgivable.
I can understand the selections with Lang injured and Dearnley and Maouche not being 100% fit, but it's a huge disappointment that some of those backup players had the chance to step up and couldn't.
Obviously we'll still have a go at the playoffs but now should be (and probably will be) who we want to retain and who can we bring in for a promotion push next season.
The rest of the season should give Scholes the chance to understand what is needed. The league isn't great at all so if the recruitment and retention is right there should be nothing stopping us from challenging at the top.
I like your positivity and hope the last part of your post comes to pass.
I agree with you regarding the back up players, they are poor to be brutally honest and Scholes needs to offload a good number in my opinion when the time comes.
Tonight should have been three points for us, no excuses, I don't care if Morecambes tails were up from their Port Vale result, that game should have been won and convincingly so. The exact opposite happened and that worries me.

Scholes got it wrong tonight and got it wrong on Saturday in my opinion, although why Baxter couldn't manage 90mins t this stage of the season baffles me.
I hope this can be put down to tinkering and experimenting as opposed to poor judgement.
Early days but was hoping for better.

Shortest honeymoon period ever.
Utter garbage.
Not sure the reason for the initial team selection other than tinkering about to see what works.
Not a lot is going to work with this group.
Almost knew this would happen tonight.

I didn't say it was the reality did I!
The minute we lose a key player through injury or suspension it goes t*ts up doesn't it!
