He has since told me that he remembers that his gran wouldn't let Ozzy through the door as he was such a well known thief, so I think it's fair to say he has a touch of the Brummie about him. I am still in shock. Geezer is my God.

Proper legend Terry 'Geezer' Butler, saw Sabbath many times in late 70s and early 80s always a great show even if the lighting was the the worst

you would see and iommi was normally so far out of it he had to be carried on the stage, even remember the speakers falling into the crowd one

night at the Apollo

In one of the Sabbath books I have read I am sure it came from his brothers who knicknamed him Geezer from being a kid.

Think his real name is Terry
