jsslatic Posted September 14, 2008 Share Posted September 14, 2008 Just watched Shez's interview on LW, he was glad with the Rat for bagging...happy that goals are coming from everyone and we're not over reliant on the forwards for goals...bang on Shez...we've played six league games and already eight different players have scored. It means we're a threat from everywhere, and perhaps the fact that we're not relying on LH/LA/CD/COG to get the goals will have a positive effect on them too...if we depend too much on them then they'll feel the pressure from both their teammates and the fans... Frankly Mr Shankly Posted September 15, 2008 Share Posted September 15, 2008 Ratboy and Whittaker are more than geared for 10 goals apiece in a season. And Chris Taylor is well on course for reaching that too. So that's 30 goals from our midfield if they reach their objectives. With a healthy input from our strikers we've definitely got what it takes in the team to reach the top six, or even push on for the top two.
