Leading goalscorer Gary Hooper visited Scunthorpe General Hospital on Wednesday morning for a scan on the foot which he injured in Tuesday's 3-0 defeat at Oldham. Following the x-ray, the Iron's medical team have confirmed that the player had just suffered heavy bruising and there's no fracture as first feared. I did say "thought to have suffered a fractured foot" and I put a question mark in the heading. Let's hope that heavy bruising restricts his shooting ability.
