the_mighty_bosh
Seems so at the moment. But Hughes hasn't signed a new deal, which could lead to future problems. Edited February 2, 2009 by the_mighty_bosh
Guest
Not yet If the clubs have sent emails to FA saying there is an intention to sign then the deal can go through anytime. It took 5 days for Benjani to sign for City last window
edhunteruk
Seems so at the moment. But Hughes hasn't signed, which could lead to future problems. all depends providing the clubs get the paperwork to the fa via whatever means by 5pm...you could have an announcment at say 8pm tonight saying he signed for someone... like wise you could get something on official site saying we have signed another player at 8pm tonight. nothing would be announced until its all finalised i did hear a rumour because of the snow, they may have put the deadline back a bit. danoafc
i did hear a rumour because of the snow, they may have put the deadline back a bit. I saw something on the BBC site that said the window was closed, other than where a club could prove to the FA that the adverse weather had impacted on their ability to complete the paperwork.
