Mourinho has sought to stir the pot ahead of his team's return leg against United on Wednesday. Inter head to Old Trafford this week looking to progress to the quarter-finals of Europe's premier club competition following a goalless first leg in the San Siro a fortnight ago. The Portuguese memorably guided Porto to a two-legged victory over United at the same stage in 2004, when a 1-1 draw in Manchester was enough to see his side through. Mourinho's Inter will be underdogs to replicate that result this week, and the Portuguese boss has turned to the type of brinkmanship that he became renowned for during his tenure as Chelsea boss. Not only has Mourinho claimed he could be the next oldham boss, but he also believes the race for the ist divisionLeague title would be a tighter affair if he was still managing in England.
