also any players we can get that are anygood?

Fon Williams (goalie)

Rose (left back)

Raynes (centre half who scored the 3rd against Latics at EP)

Blizzard (central midfielder)

Rowe (left sided winger)

All those would strengthen Latics, from what little I've seen of them.

someone will take over it allways happens

The 'David Farms' firm that effectively forced administration on to them is linked via directors to a stadium development company.

Stockport council have, apparently, agreed a site to build a new stadium in the borough to home both Sale Sharks and Stockport County.

Buying a business in administration is a lot cheaper than buying one trading normally.

Me thinks they will start next season with new owners. Very possibly linked to the stadium development company.

Stockport have no assets. The ground is owned by Sale Sharks. They're run by their fans. They're basically f**ked.

They could very easily do a Halifax and be no more before you know it.

Hope Penney swoops on Stockport like the vultures did on us in our dark days.

They just sacked their main asset. They have others they can sell.

Yup. But one of their other assets, 5,000 paying spectators 23 times a season, suggests a debt free football club in Stockport does have a future.

Well, if Latics don't, someone else will.

Hardly. Otherwise they wouldnt already be in this current predicament. With debt that they couldnt pay back.

They'll do well to stay up.

Suppose they will have one of the lowest budgets, if not the lowest budget, next season?

I believe Gannon said at a Fans forum recently they will have a conference budget at best next season.
