Zorrro
I Wouldn't Mind A Danny Graham-Esque Player Up Front.
Lookers_Carl
Would be nice if we could get him but would require a fee as he is under 24 and a six figure one at that probs. Edited May 29, 2009 by Lookers_Carl

Bring Back Ronnie Moore
As I've said before he'd probably cost 200K, max 250k maybe less than 200k. The last time we had a player like him was Chris Porter, a tall goal scoring target man. We could get him TTA were willing to put the money up for Clarke. Graham a guy who has scored 16 goals each on his last two seasons is capable of getting 20+. A bargain for 200K and should be our main striking target if we are going to push for promotion (again.) Aye, but that was a transfer offwr they were entitled to reject. Graham is now out of contract but Carlisle are subject to compensation which is decided by an independant tribunal. Carlisle can argue that he is worth 250K because of an official transfer offer. It is unlikely the tribunal will grant them any higher than 250K compo, usually it is lower. We had an offer of 700k for Porter, thus people automatically thought we would have got 700k from a tribunal which is not true, we failed to sell him and would have probably received 500k compo as he saw out his contract. The same goes for Graham he has seen out his contract so Carlisle probably wouldn't get the transfer fee they were offered. I think 200k is the likely amount, maybe a little less. Still. a bargain though
