It’s like the ban on mobile phones at hospitals (now rescinded), didn’t stop the hospitals siting mobile phone masts on top of them for years. It's like the ban on mobile phones at hospitals (now rescinded), didn't stop the hospitals siting mobile phone masts on top of them for years. And they're only banned on flights to prevent anti-social behaviour - they have no effect on the equipment used. Similar with HDD's (Laptops, MP3 players) they say you shouldn't use as them during take off/landing but that's just because they want you to be paying attention should the :censored: hit the fan. I hate hearing people on phones at the best of times, bad enough when the missus is using one at home let alone being stuck in close proximity to one on a plane.
