Dave if you are reading this board can you tell me why in training you are using a 7 a-side tactic when clearly a football match is 11 a-side, going off what I have seen 4 x 7= 28, plus those who were unable to train. Does 3 minute/ 2 minute each way really give you enough time to assess each individual? Mind if I ask why a 15 minute each way game isn't played? That is 11 a-side with 3 subs, who while the 22 are playing are doing other exercises, thus giving you the oppurtunity to see 2 full teams at once picking the best of the bunch to play on one team, there is plenty of room on the training pitch for a full sized pitch, Sheridan used to use the training ground space to the max,

I think it's all part of fancy coaching trends, you are right let's get back to basics.
