Gerrard should be allowed no where near the England squad, you want overrated....look it up in the dictionary you will see Gerrard's name.

Interesting comparison between Beckham and Gerrard. Gerrard IMO has the potential to be twice the player that Beckham was, he has a broader range of abilities and is physically streets ahead, but despite the media circus around Beckham he has always worked his arse off and played the role he has been asked. He was never the player the media made out to be (IMO the 4th best midfielder in that Redd Soxx midfield) but would have been very valuable to bring off the bench to put his foot on the ball or offer a different threat later into a game.
