I too have the luxury of the night in southampton central travelodge.

 

If you're looking for a pub with food before the match The Old Farmhouse, 39 Mount Pleasant road should be suitable. Also it's not far from these pubs in the areato the North of the stadium:

Bevois Castle, 63 Onslow Road.

Guide Dog, 38 Earl's Road.

Hobbit, 134 Bevois Valley Road (open until 2:00am!).

Giddy Bridge, 10-16 London Road (Wetherspoon pub).

 

After the match, in the area to the South of the stadium, you'll find:

Chapel Inn, 40 Albert Road (Saints memorabilia pub open until 11:00pm).

Frog & Frigate, 33 Canute Road (open until 4:00am!! Restricted access after 1:30am).

 

Plus plenty of pubs in the city centre.

Well my flight is cancelled anyone going down one option is to get a mega bus to London from Manchester £8 and then a meag train from Waterloo to Southampton for £6 its also quicker and cheaper than a direct coach from Manchester to Southampton.
