The matchday press officer is called Roy, he thought I called him Ray and was about to throw me out. The Oldham commentator has been described as the Oldham Athletic official pie taster and we can see why. Apparently he struggles to get into some of the seats in press boxes up and down the country. There's a guy chatting to the Oldham commentary team who looks like a cross between Jimmy Hill and Des Lynam. He's dressed like the archetypal 1970s club owner. There's another bald bloke lurking who has a really intense stare. I'm not gonna write too much about him as he might do me some damage.
