oafcprozac Posted August 22, 2010 Share Posted August 22, 2010 We scored 7 in all competitions last season. Pav v Orient, Brighton and Brentford (two of which almost apologised as they trickled in!) Lee v Swindon (Fluke) Whitaker v Wycombe and Southend Sheehan v Mongs Already this year we have 4!!! Can't beat spectacular goals and a bit of excitement...you don't win the raffle if you don't buy a ticket. Already four more goals better off and three points. People forget that football is a very simple game and complicate it with talk of systems and such. Even with a team playing as poorly as last year if we'd on occasion had a pop from the edge of the box we'd have picked up a good few more results over the course of the season. Even with a team playing as poorly as last year if we'd on occasion had a pop from the edge of the box we'd have picked up a good few more results over the course of the season. i think too much is made of the styles of like chelsea and arsenal where they always try to score a special magical goal,the perfect goal or try walking it into the net... think dickov has told them if they see a chance,keeper slightly out of position or off his line,then go for it.if it doesnt go in the keeper has to save it ,if he fluffs it and it bounces loose the strikers should be following in to pounce...
