I still maintain Hazell is a liability and a very poor captain. However, I thought he had an excellent game against Brentford and deserves credit for it.

Trouble is, his good games are quite often followed by a series of stinkers - consistency isn't one of his stronger qualities.

On the captain front, well, he just isn't one, is he? Watch him carefully next match - He's the quietest of all the defence, and doesn't use the opportunity to talk to the team when there is a pause in play for injuries etc. Taggart is forever reminding him to keep his line at the back - that shouldn't happen.

I'd love to see him improve and put performances in week in, week out, but there's no sign of that happening at the moment.
