rosa
what are the FA trying to prove ? http://www.darlofc.c....php?NewsID=923 I know it's the least of their problems, but telling them they have to change their name because "Darlington FC no longer exists" seems extraordinarily petty. Plenty of clubs - ourselves included - have formed new companies and continued under the old name. It does seem like they've been given an excessive kicking. Best of luck to them in working their way back up the leagues.

OldhamSheridan
It's illegal for a liquidated company to have its name used by a new company. Which appears to be the case here as it seems to be a new entity. Edited June 4, 2012 by OldhamSheridan
