disjointed Posted July 19, 2013 Share Posted July 19, 2013 City goalkeeper, ex prisoner of war Bert Trautmann has died aged 89. Whilst most people remember him for playing in the cup final with a broken neck, his bravery in playing in front of English crowds after the end of the 2nd world war where he suffered extreme hostility earned him admiration in later years.
