This post goes against everything you have been saying recently about how your moral fibre is superior to nearly everybody involved in Football.

Hope everbody remembers this next time you are on crusade.

No there is no contradiction Monty. You are confusing cheating and cynicism. The former breaks the rules the latter uses the rules to your advantage

 

After conceding the first goal Curzon could have slowed the game for example by

 

Feigning an injury....cheating. I condemn

Kicking the ball into the long grass....cheating I condemn

Making an immediate substitution to delay the restart...cynicism but within the rules . I would do

Taking their time to get the ball back to centre circle.....cynicism but within the rules. I would do

 

There are thousands of ways of players managing a game legitimately ( call it cynical if you wish) but as long as they do not break rules or seek to deceive I would expect an Oldham Athletic team to employ
