I've seen enough of Maouche to know that he will hit a couple of superb passes per game, but gives the ball away with poor passing far too many times. He gets caught in possession and drifts out of the game too much as well.
He'd be a decent League 2 player, certainly no higher, if he was consistent, but he'd never be in my starting line up. Opinions, eh?

This is all getting a bit ShuckyVera-esque.

As someone said earlier in this thread/another thread:
’the longer you don’t play at Latics, the better you become’.
I am looking forward to Branger-Engone and Egert ripping it up when they return from injury. And as for Nepomuceno, January cannot come soon enough for me
Unless the Lemmies dig their heels in and send him out on loan again to avoid having him at the club. Wouldn't surprise me.

Agreed - I was at Crawley too and was impressed by him that day.
Me too. I thought we'd found a real gem. He was brilliant when he came on and took his goal like a seasoned goal scorer. How things can change.

Not exactly earth shattering news, but James Dayton scores the winning penalty in the shoot out against Brighton U21s in the Kickabout Cup.

He was at the ground on Saturday I stood next to him briefly on the main stand lower near the exit. He’s in better shape than he looks on the pitch.
Oh, so he is around, but if he's the answer, God knows what the question is.

Surridge was different gravy. Obvs didn't like it here but was so much better than L2. 6'3, took players on for fun and could finish with absolute ease. He turned that Fulham game when he came on. Luckily we had Lang to step into the void he left but now we have Desire and Urko. Fuck sake.
I'm not convinced we've still got Urko (I hope). He seems to have disappeared from the club altogether, unless he's on his holibobs.

Last night, Dundalk with Patrick McEleney in the side and Cameron Dummigan an unused substitute, beat Shamrock Rovers (with Jack Byrne playing the full game) 3-2. Dundalk are 25 points clear of Shamrock with a goal difference of +52 after 32 games. What a crazy League that is.

Fucking joke of a club. Didn’t even get a fee for him while under contract. Suppose we’ll get some frog cunt in now, but who will be responsible for actually handing the ticket to the customer?
Fuck me there’s some real sad cunts on here. Billy is a young lad looking to better himself (I imagine). He done an admirable job from what I’ve seen. I wish him all the best.
More fuss on here thoughfrom some than there was when Big Joe left.

edit: just quoted you Bristol not aimed at you in particular (however if the cat fits )
I haven't got a cat. A cap, on the other hand ...

Wayne retired over Summer after 14years of service.
Sad that the club did not acknowledge it. Is anyone surprised? The Trust did
His son offered to do it but the offer was not taken up. No surprise again. It's only "the fan" thing, so not that important
I have seen chaddy at one home game this season.
Does this regime actually care about anything fan based?

Having watched him for Latics, I am still convinced he is absolutely dreadful. You need to remember Bolton are absolute fodder, even with those 9 players they signed.
Wasn't he banging them in for Plymouth last season? Is he another striker who improves after he leaves Latics?
-
Good luck Billy. You've been a credit to the club. They should be sorry to lose you.

Clarke Harris
Did you see his overhead bicycle kick rocket into the net last week? Pure brilliance.

Jonny Placide captained Haiti in a 1-0 defeat to Curacao and Duckens Nazon came on as a 2nd half substitute.
Nepomuceno played the full 90 minutes for Curacao and De La Paz was on the bench

Gave a tab to an old bloke in outside the River Head in Marsden. Got talking and it turns out he was George Sievwright. Played for us alongside Jimmy Frizz in the early 60's. Told me 3 times that he used to say to opposition forwards... "If you do that again, you'll end up over the road". The opposition replied "why, what's over the road". "The fucking hospital" George would reply in a stern Scottish accent. Definitely a different era... Got the impression that time hadn't been overly kind to George or his finances. Was a nice bloke though and seemed appreciative that there was an Oldham fan over the wrong side of the hills who was genuinely interested in his tales.
Not the most gifted of players, but he was a right little tough nut. He'd be called a midfield enforcer now.

RIP Junior. Such sad news, especially at such a young age. Only 40.

That was dreadful but I don’t really need to say anything. Only thing i’m happy about is fans are finally coming to their senses.
Thoughts on the current predicament, Mcfluff & @kowenicki & @Boundary Blue ?
I think you've got the wrong BoundaryBlue. I think it's BB80 you're looking for.
I'm totally pissed off now, so I'm going to find a cat to kick and then have my tea. Ta ra.

Was he the one signed against Scholes’ wishes?
One of three, I believe. I understand that Scholes didn't want Iacovitti, Sefil and Vera, so the clowns offered them contracts. Actually, Sefil already had another year plus to run. Total lunacy.

I’d actually respect him if he did, it would show integrity.
Absolutely. I really wouldn't blame the bloke but, like I said, where's the next fall guy going to come from? What's really annoying is that the numbskulls running the show are unlikely to even considering that their policy is failing. It will always be someone else's fault. How on earth do we get these fuckwits out of the club we all love?
