I shit you not, Sonny Sefil has only conned another club into believing he can kick a ball. looks like he’s won something too!

Yet another one replaced immediately they're gone. Maamria replaced Banide after about 15 minutes, CEO in within (apparently) minutes of Natalie getting the heave ho and now this one. There's probably more, but I can't remember; there's that many ins and outs you can hardly keep up. Yet another example of the Basket Case Brothers making sure the dust doesn't settle for too long.
Unless Cadamarteri walked of his own volition, of course.

He’ll be bereft.
Not half as much @Clubfootkilkenny will be. He's still got him as his avatar.

Don’t know the provenance of the source...
Oh, please let it be true. It means he'll only appear once at BP this season. I wonder if they've offered him the captaincy?

Have we made a single solitary penny from Mighty Mo’s signings yet?25 minutes ago, oafcmetty said:Think Chesterfield paid a loan fee for Nepo
What a staggering success all that was then. I'd love to know how much dosh we've pissed up against the wall bringing that pack of failures over.
With the signings made so far, have the Chuckles started to learn, it is there more crap to come? Let's hope they have learned.

Joel Coleman signs for Fleetwood. 2yr deal with option of a 3rd.

Cant even get in a National League Side!
Wasn’t he a Barry Owen signing?
Wasn't he top scorer in a bloody awful Macclesfield side? Maybe that was about his level, although being binned off by a National League side could be his benchmark.

love him or hate him....Mr Gerrard on his career. His experiences with us are about 1hour, 44 mins 30 in approx and 30 mins of chat....
Touches on Corney and Al, some funny stories too....Lots of swearing I am afraid NOT for the little ones
What the hell has happened to his hair and eyebrows. I know the barbers were shut for a while and it may have been a DIY job, but bloody hell.
On a serious note, what a brilliant half hour that was. I'm sure he could have lifted the lid on more stuff if it had gone on much longer.

Joe Jacobson scores another goal from a corner. Did he ever do that for us?
Not that I can recall. He missed a penalty tonight as well. That's a rarity. I used to live opposite him when he was at Bristol Rovers. Nice guy.

My Grandad used to say, "just as good, isn't" and "it'll do, won't". I don't think it had any football connotations when he came up with them.

Thank you. That makes me a proper keeper in my (much) younger days.

Should be money coming in for him this summer
I thought we'd sold his sell on clause.

Such an emotive subject and it's difficult to know which way to jump. We want rid of AL and his cronies, there's no doubt, but at what cost?
Taking the points deduction shoves us to the brink of the National League and, should we go down, we'd be a less attractive proposition for a prospective buyer.
On the other hand, with ALMOBO gone, we might regain some stability, but that hinges on a new owner actually knowing what he's doing and having a PLAN (shades of @lookersstandandy there!).
So many yes and no answers to this, but I've gone for 'no' purely and simply because we can't predict if we could be even worse off. Just keep the pressure on AL until he can't survive any longer and has to sell.
In the meantime, keep our League status and just hope to God that a new owner with a dollop of common sense comes in.

Come on, we're talking about the Northern Premier League Division One North West. Wheater would look like Beckenbauer at that level.
Maamria experimented throwing the kids in early on in his spell.
It really didn't work.
You can show all the pride and passion you like, but it won't go far if you get battered out of the match by L2 journeymen after ten minutes.
Even Dino could see that and abandoned the experiment.
Every now and again, you find the odd gem. Look at Jude Bellingham at Birmingham. 16 years old and setting the Championship alight. Ryan Sessignon did the same at Fulham at 17 years old. I'm not saying any of our kids are the answer but, now and again, it happens.

Ah, but can he be any worse than what we have? He might at least show a bit of pride and passion.

Well said, Billy. You gained so much respect on here for the way you dealt with every situation. You were a real credit to OAFC and yourself, so for you to come out with this says all there is to know about the toxic regime that runs from the top of the club we all love.
It breaks my heart to see what these charlatans and dim wits (I'm trying to be polite) have done to the love I have for Latics. The sooner they sod off, the better for everyone.
I never thought I'd ever say this, but if we got relegated (and I don't believe we will), but with a new and genuine owner at the helm, I could just about stomach that. Anything is better than seeing the club being slowly but surely having the life strangled out of it.

I wasn't at that one, but I was at Reading the following week. 2-2 IIRC, but it was quite sad to see the once brilliant Goram had gone so far downhill.
