I've not put owt on yet but I'm thinking small e/w bets on Seabass, Teaforthree and Across The Bay. I've used my scientific method of one of the faves, one with odds in the teens and one at over 25/1.

I think a sports bar effort would do it for me. When I get down for a game I usually get into Manchester late morning and then either find somewhere in Manchester for food, a couple of pints and the early game or else head to somewhere like the Summit/Greyhound for the same. If I knew I could jump on the bus straight to the ground and get all that in a place where the club would also benefit it'd make a huge difference - even better if it was comfortable, had decent beers and enough staff to keep queuing to a minimum

Just when you start getting a run together some one gives you a big up(small one i know) then it all goes tits up. Better than normal Cheltenham broke even on the week. As a sporting occasion though it takes some beating, the best racing of the year, you can stick your Royal Ascot or Epsom derby week, the festival has no equal in horse racing.

Yeah apologies, put the kibosh on that didn't I? You're right about the week though, I'm not massively into my racing (try to make a couple of meetings a year if I get chance) but love the festival. Managed to get matched bets with Sky and Coral so gone for a double on the first two, L15 on first four, singles on Menorah, Reve, Bally and Alfie and still got the E/W I placed on Sizing Australia on Tuesday. No pressure then.

I made about £1 over the last 2 days. Better than nowt, but distinctly disappointing considering how much I've wagered!

I'd take that after today, better than nowt.
