Does Casper have another year on his contract?
I bloody hope not - to think that Macca got slated for being twice the player Whits is defies belief.
Whits better then Wellens? He isn't even better than Richies bootboy.
We need a midfield.
Derek.
Totally agree Derek, out of the 2 i'd much prefer Macca to Whits.
Need a midfield.....i might give Joe a ring

See Rummy's post above mate

well yes....in the event of it is sensationalism, those responsible for blowing it out of all proportion should be brought to book so to speak..made to make a formal apology or if they so wished a donation to the link 4 pink charity.....very doubtfull though isnt it
I've heard from someone within the club that it has been blown out of proportion and that Gregan has been fined 2 weeks wages.

The rarely wrong Chron says today is Decision Day.
Alan Hardy said: “It is fair to say the past few days have had a detrimental effect on performances.
“We want to get this bottled up as quickly as possible now, but at the same time we need to be thorough in our investigations.
“It’s vital this situation doesn’t have an adverse impact on our aim of gaining promotion, because we have a big game coming up this weekend.”

"We want to get this bottled up".....wasn't it this that led to these problems in the first place

ah but? what do you call some one who only watch them on sky other then a plastic red b*%$&@?d
An armchair follower?

Don't bother Slurms, if you've broken your ribs there's knacker all they can do about it. You'll just waste 3 precious hours of your life in a waiting room full of pissed up morons!
Very true, here's 2 paracetamol and be on your way is all they'll say. Been there, done that!

If the team play better on Saturday and beyond now the window has been slammed shut.....
Hughes - Although he netted V Stockport, his eye has been well off the ball all January, huffing puffing and shoving. He is now back in the window and will be in his interest to be banging in goals. Looks like Donny were the only team really interested in signing him.
Taylor - People saying his head was down cos he didnt want to move, the Chron making him look a tit etc
Gregan - Back to his Best
Jones - A return to a great left wing partnership and understanding
We are still up there on merit - I have not really seen a team any better than (bar The Foxes)
People need to keep there head, cos some of the crap coming out of peoples mouth at Scunny was embarrassing.
Keep the faith
Think Scunny at their place looked pretty decent. Far better than us and i don't think it was just down to us playing badly.
-
That's what comes of playing with Paddy
I'd agree but i mentioned the pub afterwards
-
Yeah but "Hughesy Hughesy Hughesy" can do no wrong can he. Sheridan even said it to someone in the crowd the other day when Shez dared to tell Hughes to do something.
I think Hughes was a little shocked himself by the crowd reaction last night. His actions weren't really welcomed by many around me.
I never said he can do no wrong but i'd expect a bollockin given out if it was Lomax shootin with Allott in a better position.
Complete handbags, if Shez, Hughes or Taylor read this board i bet they'd be pissin themselves. Talk of show him the door or fine him....load of tosh
-
As I say, I await Hughes bollocking this Saturday
If the others don't have the bottle to say something when they know there in a better position then they are pathetic.
People argue when you step over that white line for 90 mins as you want the best for your team, once the game is finished and your back in the dressing room then everythin is forgotten. Bloody hell the amount of arguments i've had or seen with team-mates in Sunday league then havin a laugh about it afterwards back in the pub!
-
You say he had every right but then say Hughes is guilty of it himself.
I await Hughes bollocking this Saturday.
Hughes himself would not have passed in that position, simple as.
Yeah Hughes did have every right to bollock Taylor for not giving it just like Windass should of given Hughes a big bollockin on Saturday. I was making the point that why does it have to be Gregan or Shez to give out the rollickings?!
-
That doesnt belong on the pitch, its not up to Hughesy to bollock Taylor. Its up to either Gregan or Shez.
Big positive to come out of it though, you cant deny Hughesy has the passion for the club
What a load of crap...have you ever played football?
You need 11 Captains on the pitch. The reaction may have been over the top and Hughes is guilty of it himself sometimes but he had every right to bollock Taylor.
-
Do you think you are going to sign two strikers? Looks to me like maybe you are talking to Brooker and Hughes to keep the options open.
When my mate saw Hughes in Oldham last week, he said he was signing for us but they were just making Donny wait til the last minute, whether he meant it or not i don't know but then again he's also not goin to just say "well No am not signing the new contract am leaving".
There you go, my useless bit of info for the day
-
Hope its not a titanic moment but this made me laugh, if it happens then Hughes should be playing Champions League next month.

Of cigar fame?
Yeah that's him, now apparently 'lost his ways' since he got released by City.

Back and WOW!!
Droylsden didnt play to bad and were unlucky to be two down both sides had great chances but what followed can only be discribed as Justice!
Droylsden were leading when their game was called off but tonight was proper funny, the lino was being spat at constantly and really sulked (as you would) he refused to run the line at one point lol
Then Mr Pace pluged in the christmas lights and bang!! lmfao
Next fixture is a quid so get down there proper entertainment!!
Don't agree Kyle, thought Droylsden were pretty poor and didn't really look a threat going forward. There 2 best players were the right back and Jamie Tandy (Ex City) when he came on. Tipton still doesn't do a lot either. Don't get me wrong they did a couple of nice inter-plays but once in the final third they looked like they didn't know what to do.
Oh and Richardson has piled on the pounds haha
-
I’ve seen them a few times, going watching them tonight too. Watched them quite a few times before they were signed and when Rick and Jonny were in the Children.
I used to go to college with one of the lads in the band.
They aren’t big football fans, heard it said that if they had to support anyone they would follow Oldham (on lovejoys channel Bee thing). Even though I know full well one of them is a dirty red.
Exactly there not big football fans at all, likewise seen Jonny and Rick when they were in the Children. Adam the drummer i know through family, good lad and major p*sshead lol
-
alright roger have you seen TW???
do do de do twisted wheel
Seen them a few times, quality! Decent lads too.

I can just imagine the outrage if previous managers came out with comments like that.
I sort of understand what your sayin Coco but do you ever have anythin positive to say?
How do you get yourself out of bed every morning when you come across so depressed?

Gregan

Agree. Gregan was MOM on Sat followed closely by Taylor.
Eardley shouldn't of let the ball bounce for the second but keeper had to be blamed for that goal, if he comes rushing off his line then he has to take everything. Eardley had one of his better games imo of late. Hazell was very average. Jones was our worst player on the pitch.
