  1. so kalala was given a free to move

i think wolfy will be loaned out

thompson- why are we keeping him- suppose he has to be given one last chance but doubt he will get a sniff

    taylor- to donny maybe

basically i think we are/could be 2 midfielders short- with gary mac and possibly kalala leaving

we also need a left sided player

    What about Eardley, Dean?

  2. I too am an Office Skiving Monkey where i have been caught that many times i think my boss has just given up and doesn't bother sayin anythin anymore :)

Sat in a room full of plastic Manure fans who when you ask "Who are they playin this weekend then?" they just look at you like you have 3 heads and respond with a guess of a random club....most not even in the Prem!

  3. What worries me is that I bet he isnt aware of the sell on clause that we have on Richards, and if he goes elsewhere, I think he will try his upmost to get out of paying us our share and we will have to fight tooth and nail to get it.

Obviously this is good news for us and as much as i dislike City, this sort of reminds me of Chris M****!!

  4. I loved him when he was here last and will always be thankful for the season when he pretty much kept us up on his own but not sure he is anything like the player he was but if he is not asking for silly money could be a useful squad player.

Am not always for this bringing back old players but suppose i better keep my mouth shut this time after Allott well and truly shoved my words back down my throat! If am honest though i'd like Muzza back and think he could become a valuable squad player if not asking for daft money.

  5. Yeah really enjoyed it again, absolutely quality experience.

Would not recommend anyone did it next time (need to keep the price down lol)

Thought you had a good game Lee, would of been a top goal if there keeper hadn't tipped your first half effort onto the post.

  6. Gregan was first off the pitch at Crewe, where is the commitment, leadership and gratitude to the fans turning up in fantastic numbers yet again for a meaningless game.Journeyman professional on the slide.

I wouldn't mind this being double checked as although i'd had a fair bit to drink, Gregan was definitely there amongst the rest of them showing his appreciation at the end.

Some fans really do surprise me with what they see, he was best player on the park by a country mile on saturday and there was some outstanding performances from others too.

  7.

I doubt that would count as a distinct advantage. They would have been fired up to get out of division 3 wether they were down on points or not.

I think they'll get some points back but not enough for automatic promotion, maybe just enough so things don't really make a difference apart from the order of the play-off spots!

  8. Aye, good luck Gary and thanks for doing the decent thing and signing now rather than on 1st June.

He seems an all round decent bloke, puts the effort in training, doesn't whinge, played wherever he was asked then signed for a bigger club when they came in for him.

All the Best Gary Mac.....that goal will be remembered for many years

Good Pro in my eyes...trains hard, doesn't moan, 100% effort and not left us waiting all summer!

  9. I think you all did extremely well. Some might say that you were playing against players who were past it (No not me you cheeky git <_< ) but just playing in that team was unreal, it was like playing with mind readers, they knew exactly what i was abou tto do and was there waiting for the ball. And Shez's passing is something else, and he was playing on a knee that he had just had an operation on.

It could have gone anyway in the first half, but i think the fitness showed in the second half.

Totally agree, playin against Shez, Dux, Tommy or Tony P was brilliant so on the same team i bet it was awesome. Still i got a couple of good tackles in on shex, dux and tommy and even megged dux so that made my night, even if he did get me back lol.

Hopefully i'll be able to get revenge this time!

  10. Should be decent. We'll enjoy 'em, the players will, and more importantly, some early gate money because a few thousand of us will turn out.

Me and my mate was only sayin last night how we wished Latics would do something like the Ibiza tour again. Quality holiday, there's not a lot more you can ask for than women, beer, sea, sun, sand and Latics :)

  11. Yep, ive played in it. I was playing for the clubs team last year, as for me playing in it this year..........You will have to wait and see.

To sum up the fitness needed.............

Last year on the way back in at half time some young lad who had been marking Tommy Wright said to him "Hey Tommy, your pouring in sweat" and started laughing. Tommy replied "Yep, you would be sweating too if you managed to keep up with me or get anywhere near me"

Be warned, it is all made to look like as a bit of fun leading up to the game, but once we all get in the changing room before the game starts that all changes VERY quickly. Simon Corney and Shez will not stand for anyone not putting in 100%. And even when you try your best you still get shouted at......As i found out :disappointed:

Yes i played last year and marked Chaddy out of the game hence why he got so many rollickings ;) no really in all seriousness, it was a good laugh but taken pretty seriously as you could of seen with some of the challenges.

Wayne, the lad your talkin about with regards to Tommy was Dave lol, couldn't stop laughin all the way to the changin rooms.

  12. Yep , got to agree with that , keep yer chins up J@cko ! :chubb:

From what I have read since the game on Saturday one thing stands out , you all care and all want to win !

Just to show my support , each and every one of you are a credit to OWTB ! :applause1: , from players to the staff , well done and all keep the OWTB flag flying high (I can hear a song coming on ...... :OWTB1: )

Wouldn't of happened Jacko if the guy you hit got his sending off in the first half for his two footed lunge on me then again the left back did just the same so really they should of been down to 9 men. We battered them first half and should of been more than 1 up!

  13. Well said Roytoner.

As for you COCO..... bewildering reply, but then again its expected.

Totally agree. The main moaners near us seem to come from the Lookers Upper. A few of us from the Lower let the moaners know our feelings last night but it seems they are just really thick and like you said they have probably never even kicked a ball.

Although my mate said after about 70 mins "send him back" referring to Constantine to which i gave him a rant of what a cock he is and how he has never played football.

  14. Cracking player, gives 110% every match, puts defences on back foot, NOT A LEFT WINGER!!! Got skill, gets into great positions but always crossing on his weaker left foot - NOT HIS NATURAL FOOT!! Why not play someone else who aint left footed on the left, make them look a fish out of water instead of Chrissy T. So gutted when he just missed last night. TAAAYLOR, TAAAYLOR!!!

Taylor has not got skill - FACT! He has no tricks at all. Derek has summed him up pretty well really and is one of the most over-rated players i've seen. Also why the hell Stam has hero status i don't know, he's our weak link in defence, utter gash!
