  1. FB definately has to be backed or sacked by AL in this transfer window, It is obvious to everybody that we need about 4 players and attempt to keep Surridge, Lang, Lydon and Iverson for the remainder of the season.

We have 4 very winnable league games in January which could put us in more favourable position in the next 5 weeks..

    Wow

Disappointed and ashamed of the players.

I give them more credit than they deserve at times but there is no defending that, lack of skill, lack of quality but the thing that gets me is the lack of effort and will to perform.

It’s never nice supporting Oldham when your beaten in your home town, i’ve had to watch Fleetwood rise from the lower depths of non league to now be in a higher league than us and also beating us a couple of times in the last couple of seasons.

I was hoping we would bounce straight back up to save further embarrassment but its not looking good.

  3. Kean Bryan wont drop to league 2, we need about 3/4 players bringing in to give this lot some rest.. They all know there is very little competition for places and despite a shocking result like today they will still play the next game..

This is the weakest squad i have witnessed in my 35 years of watching us..

Heard the owner had a few things to say after Saturday and it didn't go down well.

Probably wanted to sack them all after that second half performance against Exeter, fuck knows what he will be saying after today..

Hopefully he realises he needs to put his hand in his pocket to strengthen the team before we start having away trips to the dog and duck

  5. The pressing game we play only seems sustainable for the first 45 mins, we did the same vs bury..we come out for the second half on our heavy pitch with very little shape, we look less compact in the middle and 5/6 players look very tired and leggy..

We have improved since the first couple of months of the season but we are still frail when we are defending, a couple of signings are needed if we are to push on and attempt to get into the play offs because this squad is starting to look tired due to not being able to rotate anybody in any games.

Thought Hamer was shaky. Good cross for 1st goal but ran under the ball a few times in 1st half and was way out of position a couple of times in 2nd. Admittedly Hunt wasn't any better when switched but we had to try something. The game was lost in midfield and if Lyden had been brought on earlier we should have got something from the game as he combated their midfield 2nd half dominance..

Agree with that, im feeling a little gutted after that second half performance its as if we went back a few months when things were shaky.. Just as ive started enjoying the games again and it had stopped becoming a chore to jump in the car and drive the 60 miles you then get an unwanted kick in the bollocks.

IMO Bunn has got to take the blame for that, all 3 subs were wrong...

I think i would of made two of them subs because O’Grady was ineffective and Maouche was absolutely shattered..Missilou must have covered every blade of grass and you have to feel he was let down badly by others behind him, particularly Hunt who was terrible today.

  8. Why he brought Taylor on i’ll never know, Hamer was doing ok..

Ref and liners were about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.. Hunt had a shocker as did Edmundson , mauoche and missilou were both effective in the first half and we are good when we’re in possesion but they both seemed to tire as they did vs bury lastweek and exeter strolled through the middle of the park at will.
